Nicolás Córdova
Nicolas Andrés Córdova San Cristóbal (, born 9 February 1979) is a Chilean football manager and former Association football, footballer. He is the manager of Al-Rayyan SC, Al-Rayyan. Playing career Córdova began his career in Colo-Colo of Chile in the top flight. He played from 1997 until 2001 playing 54 matches and scoring three goals. In the 2004–05 season, he played A.S. Livorno Calcio, Livorno. In September 2008, he was signed for U.S. Grosseto F.C., Grosseto. At international level, he represented Chile U20 in the 1999 South American U-20 Championship, 1999 South American Championship, and to the Chile national football team, Chile senior team five times. 2017 Copa Chile
The 2017 Copa Chile, (officially known as Copa Chile MTS 2017 because of its sponsorship), was the 38th edition of the Copa Chile, the country's national cup tournament. The competition started on 9 July 2017 with the First Round and ended on 11 November 2017. Santiago Wanderers were the winners, beating Universidad de Chile 3–1 in the final to win their third title and first since 1961, and qualified for the 2018 Copa Libertadores. Format The 2017 Copa Chile is based on a system of direct elimination with double-legged ties, similar to the Copa del Rey. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950.
