Nicolae Constantin
Nicolae "Nae" Constantin (born 9 December 1973) is a Romanian football manager and former player. Mainly deployed as a centre-back, he spent most of his playing career at Petrolul Ploiești, Astra Ploiești, Rapid București and FC Brașov, among other brief stints. Although uncapped by the Romania national team, he was regarded as one of the best defenders of his generation. Playing career Constantin started his playing career with Victoria Florești, a local club in from his native Prahova County. After one season, he moved to Petrolul Ploiești. In spite of being a central defender, he would often go up front and score goals for his teams, as he proved so while on loan at Danubiana Ploiești, where he totalled six goals from 21 games. Upon his return to Petrolul, he managed seven goals in 69 matches, before moving to rival Rapid București in 1999. Liga I
The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 campaign, being currently on the 29th place in UEFA's league coefficient ranking list. It is administered by the Liga Profesionistă de Fotbal, also known by the acronym LPF. 2021–22 Liga II
The 2021–22 Liga II (also known as 2021–22 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 82nd season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the sixth Liga II season with a single series. In the regular season each team played every other team once, then followed a promotion play-off and a relegation play-out. The first two teams promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed and fifth-placed team played a play-off match against the 13th-placed and 14th-placed team from Liga I. The last five teams relegated to Liga III. The season began on 31 July 2021 and end on 4 June 2022. Daniel Isăilă
Daniel Ionuț Isăilă (born 29 June 1972) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player. He is the current manager of UAE Pro League club Ajman. A former defender, Isăilă played 149 matches in Liga I, scoring seven goals. He played eight times in the UEFA Cup, four games each with Rapid București and FC Brașov. Coaching career He began his coaching career in 2006 at second league club FC Săcele. He then joined the technical staff of Răzvan Lucescu, becoming his assistant at FC Brașov. From July 2010 he was in numerous occasions the head coach of FC Brașov, overseen by technical director Daniel Oprea, Isăilă not having the PRO License coach certificate yet. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. Club Sportiv Brazi, commonly known as CS Brazi, or simply as Brazi, is a Romanian amateur football club based in Brazi, Prahova County. Răzvan Lucescu (; born 17 February 1969) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Greek Super League club PAOK. As a player, he operated as a goalkeeper and spent most years of his career at Sportul Studențesc during three stints. Lucescu also represented Național București, Brașov, Rapid București and FCM Bacău in his country, as well as Crema Calcio abroad. He won his only national title with Rapid in the 2002–03 campaign.
