Niall O'Meara
Niall O'Meara (born 16 December 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays for Tipperary Senior Championship club Kilruane MacDonagh's and formerly at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a left wing-forward. Playing career Mary Immaculate College During his studies at Mary Immaculate College, O'Meara was selected for the college's senior hurling team during his second year. On 27 February 2016, he was selected at right wing-forward but spent much of the game at left corner-forward when Mary Immaculate College faced the University of Limerick in the Fitzgibbon Cup final. O'Meara ended the game with a winners' medal following the 1-30 to 3-22 victory. Kilruane MacDonagh's O'Meara joined the Kilruane MacDonagh's club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels. Kilruane (''Cill Ruáin'' in Irish language, Irish) is a townland and civil parishes in Ireland, civil parish in the historical Barony (Ireland), barony of Ormond Lower, County Tipperary in Ireland. It is located between Nenagh and Cloughjordan. Sport Kilruane MacDonagh's GAA club grounds are located nearby in Cloughjordan. Buildings of note The ruins of Kilruane Church of Ireland are still standing. Built with the assistance of the Board of First Fruits in 1820, the ruins display some detailed stone work. Moyle Rovers GAA
Moyle Rovers GAA are a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Tipperary, Ireland. History The club derives its name from the river Moyle that runs through the Parish and joins the Anner. The club was founded in 1928. Previous to this since the 1800s various teams represented the parish in local leagues most often the Clonmel League. Kilsheelan GAA club have recorded games played against Powerstown in the early 1900s. The 1990s Football The club's grounds, Monroe, was officially opened in 1990. Soon after in 1991 they won their first South senior football title and in 1995 their first ever County senior football championship final win. Further victories in this grade followed in 1996/98/99/00 along with these Moyle Rovers also won four South Senior football titles; and contested two Munster club finals also. The 2014 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final, the deciding game of the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, was played on 7 September 2014 at Croke Park, Dublin. The GAA Hurling Intermediate All-Ireland Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).
