Nguyễn Trọng Hoàng
Nguyễn Trọng Hoàng (born 14 April 1989) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a right winger or a right back for Sông Lam Nghệ An of the V.League 1 and a former player for the Vietnam national team. He is widely considered by the Vietnamese press as one of the most promising talents of his generation. Club career After the departure of Lê Công Vinh to Hà Nội T&T F.C. in 2009, Trọng Hoàng was given Công Vinh's number 9 and since then, he has become an important part of Sông Lam Nghệ An. His performance helped SLNA win third place in the 2009 V-League season and 2010 Vietnamese Cup title. In the financial turmoil that affected most V-League clubs after the 2012 season, SLNA was unable to arrange a financial contract with Trọng Hoàng. Vietnam National Football Team
The Vietnam national football team ( vi, Đội tuyển bóng đá quốc gia Việt Nam) represents the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in international football and is controlled by the Vietnam Football Federation, the governing body of football in Vietnam. Vietnam was introduced to football by the French in the 19th century. However, due to various conflicts that occurred in the country throughout the 20th century, the development of Vietnamese football was significantly hampered. The V.League 1 ( vi, Giải bóng đá vô địch quốc gia, lit=National Football League), also called Night Wolf V.League 1 due to sponsorship reasons, is the top professional Association football, football league in Vietnam, controlled by the Vietnam Football Federation, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company. 2010 Asian Games
The 2010 Asian Games (), officially known as the XVI Asian Games () and also known as Guangzhou 2010 (), was a regional multi-sport event celebrated from November 12 to November 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, although several events commenced earlier on November 7, 2010. It was the second time China had hosted the Asian Games, with the first one being Asian Games 1990 hosted in Beijing. Henrique Calisto
Henrique Manuel da Silva Calisto (born 16 October 1953) is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a right back, and is a manager. After his playing career ended he became a manager, taking charge of numerous clubs, mainly in Portugal, and also managed the Vietnamese national team. The 2007 Southeast Asian Games ( th, กีฬาแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ 2007, Kila haeng echiye tawan oak chiyeng tai 2007), officially known as the 24th Southeast Asian Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), Thailand. This was the sixth time Thailand hosted the Southeast Asian Games and its first time since 1995. Previously, Thailand also hosted the 1959 inaugural games, 1967 games, 1975 games and the 1985 games. Alfred Riedl
Alfred Riedl (2 November 1949 – 8 September 2020) was an Austrian football player and manager. As a player he was a striker. His last coaching role was with the Indonesia national football team. Playing career Club career He first played for FK Austria Wien, before leaving Austria to play for the Belgian club Sint-Truiden at the age of 22. After he played eight seasons in the Belgian First Division (two with Sint-Truiden, two with Royal Antwerp and four with Standard Liège), Riedl enjoyed a brief spell at FC Metz in France. Vietnamese Cup
Vietnamese National Football Cup ( vi, Giải Bóng đá Cúp Quốc Gia Việt Nam), now officially recognized as the BaF Meat National Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a Vietnamese football competition. It is one of the most important club competitions in Vietnam. The Vietnamese Cup was first held in 1992. Cảng Sài Gòn was the first cup winners. Format Entry is open to all teams that compete in the V.League 1 (Champions League) and the V.League 2 (First League). The two teams that reach the final are exempt from the preliminary rounds of next year's competition. The cup winners qualify for the AFC Cup (relative equivalent of the UEFA Europa League). Vietnamese National Cup winner will be also qualified for a single match of the Vietnamese Super Cup against the V.League 1 champion.
