New Salamis Football Club is a football club based in Bowes Park, London, England. They are currently members of the and play at the Coles Park, White Hart Lane, London, groundsharing with Haringey Borough. History New Salamis was formed in 1971 by fans of Cypriot club Nea Salamis Famagusta, with the Cyprus-based club acting as a parent club. Playing in the KOPA League, a British Cypriot league, the club won the 2016 FA Sunday Cup, following a penalty shootout win against Barnes at Selhurst Park. Ahead of the 2019–20 season, New Salamis were promoted to the Spartan South Midlands League, following a second placed finish in the Hertfordshire Senior League. New Salamis entered the FA Vase for the first time in 2019–20. In 2021 the club were promoted to the Premier Division based on their results in the abandoned 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons. 2020–21 Spartan South Midlands Football League
The 2020–21 Spartan South Midlands Football League season was the 24th in the history of Spartan South Midlands Football League, a football competition in England. The league operates three divisions, two of which are in covered in this article, the Premier Division, at Step 5 and Division 1 at Step 6 of the English football league system. The allocations for Steps 5 and 6 for season 2020–21 were announced by the FA on 21 July, and were subject to appeal. The 2020–21 season started in September and was suspended in December a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in England. The league season was subsequently abandoned on 24 February 2021. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). 2019–20 FA Vase
The 2019–20 Buildbase FA Vase was the 46th season of the FA Vase, an annual football competition for teams playing below Step 4 of the English National League System. The competition was played with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. All first-leg ties until the semi-finals were played with extra time if level after 90 minutes – first-leg ties may also be resolved with penalties if both teams agree and notify the referee at least 45 minutes before kick-off, per rule 11a of the Rules of the Challenge Vase.
