''New.Music.Live.'' (often called ''NML'') was the hour-long flagship show of MuchMusic and the successor of '' MuchOnDemand'' which premiered on December 13, 2010 and ended on August 1, 2013. It was broadcast live from MuchMusic's studio at 299 Queen Street West in Toronto. Concept MuchMusic's flagship show delivered the news in music and entertainment, new and popular music videos, live performances, and interviews with artists and celebrities. Viewers in Canada could watch at home and interact with the show via Twitter. Although the show wasn't simulcast, international viewers could watched the show online through their website. Tickets were also available through the website to anyone as long as they can make it to the show. ''MuchOnDemand'' (also called MOD) is an hour-long per broadcast viewer interactive television program aired on MuchMusic, Monday through Friday at 5pm ET. It was broadcast live from 299 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario. ''The Best of MuchOnDemand'', aired Sundays at 10am ET, highlighting the best moments on the show from the past week. ''MuchOnDemand'' acted as MuchMusic's flagship show in a similar manner as MTV's U.S. music video countdown show '' Total Request Live''. History ''MuchOnDemand'' first aired with VJ host Rick Campanelli, mainly with a format where people can request videos. When it changed its format in 2002, it added Jennifer Hollett as co-host. Lauren Toyota is a Canadian content producer and author. She originally gained prominence as a television personality. She is currently the host of the Hot for Food blog and YouTube channel. Toyota was born in Mississauga, Ontario. She earned a diploma in Music Business Administration from Durham College. In 2005, she moved from Toronto to Vancouver to work as a television personality on the lifestyle magazine show 969 on Razer. Much (an abbreviation for its full name MuchMusic) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. through its Bell Media subsidiary that airs programming aimed at teenagers and young adults. MuchMusic launched on August 31, 1984, under the ownership of CHUM Limited, and was originally focused on music programming, including blocks of music videos and original series focusing on Canadian musicians. Jesse Giddings
Jesse Giddings is a Canadian musician, designer, actor, artist and photographer born in Langley, British Columbia and went to high school at Langley Secondary School. He was formerly a VJ starting in 2009 at MuchMusic, a music television station in Canada. Early life and career Jesse studied at Langley Secondary School but left shortly after graduating. He then moved to San Clemente, California before settling in Sacramento, California for a while. Later Jesse moved back to Langley, British Columbia and started The Basement Venue promoting, emceeing and hosting All-Age concerts.
