MuchOnDemand
''MuchOnDemand'' (also called MOD) is an hour-long per broadcast viewer interactive television program aired on MuchMusic, Monday through Friday at 5pm ET. It was broadcast live from 299 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario. ''The Best of MuchOnDemand'', aired Sundays at 10am ET, highlighting the best moments on the show from the past week. ''MuchOnDemand'' acted as MuchMusic's flagship show in a similar manner as MTV's U.S. music video countdown show ''Total Request Live''. History ''MuchOnDemand'' first aired with VJ host Rick Campanelli, mainly with a format where people can request videos. When it changed its format in 2002, it added Jennifer Hollett as co-host. Since its debut, the show has been hosted by several other personalities, including Amanda Walsh (who replaced Jennifer Hollett), Sarah Taylor and Devon Soltendieck and Matte Babel and Leah Miller since 2004. Leah Miller (born July 20, 1981) is a Canadian television host and former MuchMusic VJ from Toronto, who was the host for the three seasons (2008–2011) of ''So You Think You Can Dance Canada''. She was also a correspondent for the entertainment news show '' etalk'', and E! in Canada. Early life Miller is the youngest of four children; she has an older sister and two older brothers. Amanda Walsh
Amanda Walsh (born October 3, 1981) is a Canadian actress, writer, and former VJ for the Canadian television station MuchMusic. Early life Walsh was born in Rigaud, Quebec. She went to Hudson High School, in Hudson, Quebec. Career Walsh started her acting career "acting" out of border-crossing scenarios at the Canada Customs college in her hometown of Rigaud. Walsh began working as a professional actor at age 12. She has dabbled in sketches and stand-up comedy, with numerous TV appearances. MuchMusic Video Awards
The iHeartRadio MMVAs were an annual awards show broadcast on Much to honour the year's best music videos that was last held in 2018. Originally debuting in 1990 as the Canadian Music Video Awards, the awards were renamed in 1995 to the MuchMusic Video Awards, reflecting the original (1984–2013) "MuchMusic" name of the Much channel. In 2016, the show was rebranded under the iHeartRadio banner after Much's parent company, Bell Media, reached a licensing agreement with iHeartMedia. In 2018, the show's full name was officially dropped.
