Rick Campanelli
Rick Campanelli (born January 5, 1970) is a Canadian television and radio personality known for his work as a VJ and host for MuchMusic and for co-hosting ''ET Canada''. He joined Z103.5FM CIDC-FM in November 2021, and is currently co-host of the morning show. Life and career Campanelli is a native of Hamilton, Ontario, and grew up in a working class Italian-Canadian family; he is the youngest of four siblings. Campanelli and his family are Roman Catholic. Campanelli attended school in St. Catharines. He attended Brock University, earning a degree in physical education. Campanelli was introduced to the MuchMusic viewers as the winner of MuchMusic's 1994 MuchTemp contest. Originally he was nicknamed "The Temp" (or, famously, "Rick the Temp"). The 36th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada between September 8 and September 18, 2011. Buenos Aires, Argentina was selected to be showcased for the 2011 City to City programme. The Global Television Network (more commonly called Global, or occasionally Global TV) is a Canadian English-language terrestrial television network. It is currently Canada's second most-watched private terrestrial television network after CTV, and has fifteen owned-and-operated stations throughout the country. Monika Deol is a Canadian television personality. She began as an entertainment reporter for Citytv in Toronto, Ontario, and later became a VJ for MuchMusic, hosting and co-producing ''Electric Circus'' from 1988 to 1996. The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative, also known as YPI, teaches secondary school students the fundamentals of philanthropy, and gives students the opportunity to play a direct role in making a financial grant to a local, grassroots social service organization in their own community. Overview YPI takes place in secondary schools in North America and the UK as part of a mandatory course, so that each student across the entire grade level/year is able to participate.
