Neville A. "Nev" Chandler, Jr. (October 2, 1946 in Lakewood, Ohio – August 7, 1994 in Rocky River, Ohio) was a Cleveland, Ohio-area sports broadcaster. Life and career Chandler graduated from Rocky River High School and, in 1968, Northwestern University. In the 1970s, he worked for several television stations in Ohio and sometimes hosted a sports talk show on WWWE-AM. From 1980 to 1984, Chandler served as WWWE's sports director and teamed with Herb Score on Cleveland Indians radio broadcasts. In 1985, he moved to television station WEWS as sports director and sports anchor. He was best known for calling play-by-play for the Cleveland Browns from 1985 to 1993, a time during which the team made the playoffs five straight years. Neville Cottrell (1927–2014) was an Australian rugby union footballer. A Queensland and national representative forward, he played fourteen Test matches for Australia, two as captain. Nev Edwards (born ) is an English rugby union player who plays on the wing. He has played for Sale Sharks in Premiership Rugby as well as Union Bordeaux Bègles in the French Top 14. He attended Whitgift School on a sports scholarship, being an exciting, fast cricket bowler. There he played rugby with Danny Cipriani, and joined the London Irish academy but ended up being released after two years at 18 years old. He decided to attend St Mary's University, Twickenham and played rugby there. He then played for Rosslyn Park in National League One, the third-tier of English rugby while working a full-time sales job at Red Bull. Nev Fountain, born Steven John Fountain (born 12 August 1969), is an English writer, best known for his comedy work with writing partner Tom Jamieson on the radio and television programme '' Dead Ringers''. Early life A native of Stamford, Fountain attended the University of Warwick. Career While working at a series of odd jobs in London, Fountain wrote a few fringe plays, including one called ''My Grandmother Is a Time Lord'', produced in 1995. In the same year, he began writing sketches for the radio programme ''Week Ending''. It was while working on ''Week Ending'' that he met Tom Jamieson, with whom he has written most of his subsequent radio and television work. Neville Thomas Eric "Nev" Hewitt (19 October 1920 – 19 July 2016) was an Australian politician. He was a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Early life Hewitt was born at Theodore, Queensland in 1920 to Herbert Deane Hewitt and his wife Mildred Sarah Elizabeth (née Davey). He started his schooling in Theodore before completing his education at Rockhampton Grammar School. World War II In World War II, he joined the Royal Australian Air Force, reaching the rank of Flying Officer. Hewitt was aboard a Wellington Bomber when it was shot down over Tunisia. He managed to parachute out and endured an artillery duel before landing and breaking his ankle. Over four nights he managed to crawl back to where his plane had crashed and destroyed anything of value to the enemy. He is best known for the 2010 documentary film ''Catfish'' and the follow up TV series '' Catfish: The TV Show'' on MTV of which he is the host and executive producer. Neville George Warburton (23 February 1932 – 5 August 2018) was an Australian politician from Queensland, who served as leader of the opposition from 1984 to 1988, and as a minister in the Goss Ministry from 1989 to 1992. Career Early career Warburton was elected at the 1977 election as the Labor Party candidate for the seat of Sandgate, succeeding Harold Dean who had held the seat for the ALP since 1960. Nev the Bear is a small, blue puppet bear that originally appeared in the CBBC television programme ''Smile''. Since 2007, Nev has starred in his own CBBC show '' Bear Behaving Badly'', alongside Barney Harwood. His name was created from the name of his co-star Dev Griffin on ''Smile''. He was last seen on Hacker Time when Derek puts Nev on Line 1 for Barney Harwood. Nev has patches in places on his body and is missing part of his ear.
