''NeuN'' is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsutomu Takahashi. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Young Magazine'' from May 2017 to February 2020, with its chapters collected in six ''tankōbon'' volumes. is the Japanese term for a book that is not part of an anthology or corpus. In modern Japanese, the term is most often used in reference to individual volumes of a manga series: most series first appear as individual chapters in a weekly or monthly manga anthology with other works before being published as volumes containing several chapters each. Tsutomu Takahashi
, born on September 20, 1965 in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese manga artist, who is well known for his manga '' Jiraishin''. As of March 2006, he is currently married and has one child. His alias is Ichigo Nekota. History He began his involvement in the manga work with the creation of ''Jiraishin'', published and serialized in Afternoon magazine and published in Kodansha, which made him a popular icon in Japan from 1992-1999. In late 1999, he published a single manga volume called ''ALIVE'', published by Shueisha. Shortly afterwards, he published ''Tetsuwan Girl'', which is also carried by Kodansha as well. Takahashi was a guest lecturer at Ritsumeikan University back in 1998, giving a talk on "Expression". is an editorial category of Japanese comics marketed toward young adult men. In Japanese, the word ''seinen'' literally means "youth", but the term "''seinen'' manga" is also used to describe the target audience of magazines like '' Weekly Manga Times'' and ''Weekly Manga Goraku'' which cater specifically to men's interests, and are marketed towards a demographic of young adult men between the ages of 18 and 40. Weekly Young Magazine
is a Japanese weekly anthology magazine published in Tokyo each Monday by Kodansha. The magazine was started on June 23, 1980 and is targeted at the adult male ( ''seinen'') demographic. It was published bimonthly (under the title ), on the second and fourth Mondays of every month, until switching to a weekly publication in 1989. The chapters of the series that run in ''Weekly Young Magazine'' are collected and published in tankōbon volumes under the "YoungKC" imprint every four months.
