Nebojša Bogavac
Nebojša Bogavac ( sr-cyrl, Небојша Богавац; born December 14, 1973) is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach and former player who is the current head coach for Podgorica of the Prva A Liga and the ABA League Second Division.. Professional career Bogavac played four seasons for KK Lovćen in the Yugoslav Basketball League from 1997 to 2001. He then spent next four years with KK Hemofarm between 2001 and 2005. He helped the team to win the Adriatic League title in 2005. Bogavac signed with CB Breogán in Spain for the 2005–05 season. After that, he played two years with Le Mans Sarthe Basket in France. He started the 2008–09 season with KK Lovćen, but left in December for Mahram Tehran BC, for which he played only at the tournament in Dubai later that month. ABA League Second Division
The ABA League Second Division, also ABA League 2, is the 2nd-tier men's basketball division of the ABA League system. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition between men's professional clubs from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia. Košarkaški klub Podgorica (), commonly referred to as KK Podgorica, is a men's professional basketball club based in Podgorica, Montenegro. The club has the same management structure as Budućnost Bemax. They are currently competing in the Montenegrin First League and the ABA League Second Division. Luka Bogavac, (born 20 September 2003) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player for SC Derby of the ABA League and the Prva A Liga. Standing at and weighing , he plays both shooting guard and point guard positions. Early life and career Bogavac grew up with the SIG Strasbourg youth system where his father Nebojša Bogavac was an assistant coach. He joined the Mega Basket youth system in May 2021. At the 2020–21 Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament, he averaged 14.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Montenegro Men's National Basketball Team
The Montenegro men's national basketball team ( cnr, Кошаркашка репрезентација Црне Горе, Košarkaška reprezentacija Crne Gore) represents Montenegro in international basketball tournaments. The 2003 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2003, was the 33rd FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as the Europe qualifier for the 2004 Summer Olympics, giving a berth to the top three teams in the final standings. The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in SFR Yugoslavia.
