Navy Pier Auditorium
The Navy Pier Auditorium, designed by the architect Charles Sumner Frost and constructed in 1916, is located at the east end of Navy Pier in Chicago and is also known as the Hall. The Navy Pier Auditorium consists of the Festival Hall and the Aon Grand Ballroom. History In 1992, The Festival Hall had construction work done as a result of it being a part of the $150 million renovation plan. To help regain attention to Navy Pier, the Aon Grand Ballroom went under construction in 1976. After the reconstruction, the entire Pier was named a Chicago landmark. Originally, the Aon Grand Ballroom was called the Grand Ballroom but was renamed as the Aon Grand Ballroom in 2015 to honor the contribution of Aon Corporation. Dimensions The Festival Hall is made up of 170,000 square feet and the ceiling is 60 feet tall. Local H
Local H is an American rock band originally formed by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas, bassist Matt Garcia, drummer Joe Daniels, and lead guitarist John Sparkman in Zion, Illinois in 1990. The members all met in high school in 1987 and founded Local H three years later. They are known for their unorthodox two-piece setup. After Sparkman's departure in 1991 and Garcia's departure in 1993, Local H signed a record contract with Island Records in 1994 as a duo, where they would go on to release three albums. They became best known for their radio hit "Bound for the Floor", a single from the 1996 album '' As Good as Dead'' which peaked at No. 5 on the US Alternative ''Billboard'' Chart. Isma'ilism ( ar, الإسماعيلية, al-ʾIsmāʿīlīyah) is a branch or sub-sect of Shia Islam. The Isma'ili () get their name from their acceptance of Imam Isma'il ibn Jafar as the appointed spiritual successor (imām) to Ja'far al-Sadiq, wherein they differ from the Twelver Shia, who accept Musa al-Kadhim, the younger brother of Isma'il, as the true Imām. Ryan Gary Raddon (born February 25, 1971), better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. ''DJ Times'' voted Kaskade "America's Best DJ" in 2011 and 2013.
