Bharat Vyas (1918–1982) was a noted Indian lyricist who wrote the songs for Hindi films in 1950s and 1960s. Biography Bharat Vyas was born in Bikaner in British India on 06 January 1918 in Pushkarna Brahmin family. He studied B.Com. at Calcutta and after completing his studies he came to Bombay. His first film as lyricist was '' Duhaai'' (1943). He was the writer of the prayer song, ‘Ae Malik Tere Bande Hum’ and ' Ye Kaun Chitrakar Hai'. He directed a Bollywood film '' Rangila Rajasthan'' (1949) for which he wrote the lyrics and composed three songs. Sandhya Shantaram
Sandhya Shantaram (née Vijaya Deshmukh) is an Indian actress born in 1938. She is best known for her appearances in various Hindi and Marathi films directed by her husband V. Shantaram, in 1950s-1960s, most notably ''Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje'' (1955), ''Do Aankhen Barah Haath'' (1958), ''Navrang'' (1959), Marathi film '' Pinjra'' (1972) and ''Amar Bhoopali'' (1951). Career Sandhya was discovered by V. Shantaram when he was seeking new faces to cast for his film ''Amar Bhoopali'' (1951). The young woman did not have outstanding features or talent, but what struck the filmmaker was that she had a good voice, one that strangely resembled that of his second wife, the actress Jayshree. Rajkamal Kalamandir was a noted film production company and studio in Mumbai. It was established by V. Shantaram in 1942, after he left Prabhat Films. Keshavrao Date (1889–1971) was an Indian film actor, who worked in both silent and sound movies. He tried to run his own drama company but found it difficult to perform the dual roles of manager and actor. Agha (21 March 1914 – 30 April 1992) was an Indian actor of Bollywood films. He was known for comic roles and modeled himself on Bob Hope's style of acting. He appeared in over 300 Hindi films in his career between 1935 and 1986. His son, Jalal Agha, also became an actor, mostly known for the song ''Mehbooba Mehbooba'' in ''Sholay'' (1975). Ravi Kapoor ( ; born 7 April 1942), known mononymously by his screen name Jeetendra, is an Indian actor who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. He also serves as the chairman of the Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures. Early life Jeetendra was born in a Punjabi Khatri family as Ravi Kapoor in Amritsar, Punjab, to Amarnath and Krishna Kapoor, whose business dealt with imitation jewellery, supplied to film industry. Baburao Pendharkar (22 June 18968 November 1967), was an Indian actor, director, film producer and writer. Personal life Baburao Pendharkar was born on 22 June 1896 in Kolhapur in a Brahmin family.
