Natsumi Itsuki
is a Japanese shōjo manga artist best known for writing science fiction manga. She debuted in 1979 with ''Megumi-chan ni Sasageru Comedy'' in ''LaLa''. She won the 1993 Seiun Award for best science fiction manga for '' Oz'' and the 1997 Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo manga for '' Eight Clouds Rising''. Hanasakeru Seishōnen
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsumi Itsuki. Set in the modern era, the story follows the path to romance of fourteen-year-old Kajika Burnsworth, daughter of powerful industrialist Harry Burnsworth, owner of the Burnsworth international conglomerate giant. Kajika agrees to participate in a "marriage game" with her father, in which she must select her future husband out of three men that her father has supposedly preselected for her. Despite its ''shōjo''-romance undertones, the story itself evolves as a power political mystery involving a small, southeast Asian country called Raginei (purportedly near Malaysia). is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsumi Itsuki. The manga was first serialized in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, ''LaLa'' in December 1993. Several chapters of the series were serialized in Hakusensha's other bi-monthly ''shōjo'' manga magazine, Melody. The chapters released were then collected into five ''tankōbon'' volumes and later re-released into three ''kanzenban'' volumes. It was licensed and released in English in North America by Tokyopop, with translations by Yuya Otake and English adaptation by Clint Bickham.
