National Bank of Pakistan cricket team, sponsored by the National Bank of Pakistan, was a first-class cricket side, one of the most successful in Pakistani domestic cricket. They won each of the three major trophies at least once and achieved 14 tournament wins in total. They played 421 matches of first-class cricket between the 1969–70 season and the 2018–19 season. They won 179 matches, lost 76 and drew 166. Many stars of Pakistani cricket have played for the team, including Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mushtaq Ahmed and Waqar Younis. In May 2019, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan revamped the domestic cricket structure in Pakistan, excluding departmental teams like National Bank of Pakistan in favour of regional sides, therefore ending the participation of the team. Naumanullah
Naumanullah (born 20 May 1975) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off-spin bowler. Having made his first-class debut for Hyderabad in 1995, he has represented the various teams of neighbouring Karachi in regional cricket since 1998, as well as National Bank of Pakistan and Redco Pakistan Limited. Usman Salahuddin ( ur, ; born 2 December 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer who was selected to play against the West Indies for the May 2011 series. Salahuddin averages 36 in List A cricket and 47 in First-class cricket. He represented Lahore Eagles team in Faysal Bank T20 Cup 2012–13 season. 2016 season he was signed by Newcastle city cricket club as their pro. In April 2017, he was added to Pakistan's Test squad for their series against the West Indies, but he did not play. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Inzamam-ul-Haq SI ( ur, ; born 3 March 1970), also known as Inzi, is a former Pakistan cricketer and captain of Pakistan national cricket team. He was also professional cricket coach for Pakistan. He was the leading run scorer for Pakistan in one-day internationals, and the third-highest run scorer for Pakistan in Test cricket. He is the only Pakistani batsman to score 20,000 runs in international cricket arena. He was the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team from 2003–07. Mushtaq Ahmed Malik ( مشتاق احمد گجر ; born 28 June 1970) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who currently acts as the spin bowling coach for the Pakistan Cricket Team. A leg break googly bowler, at his peak he was described as being one of the best three wrist-spinners in the world. In an international career that spanned from 1990 until 2003, he claimed 185 wickets in Test cricket and 161 in One Day Internationals. He was at his most prolific internationally between 1995 and 1998, but his most successful years were as a domestic player for Sussex in the early 2000s. Waqar Younis Maitla HI ( Punjabi, ur, ; born 16 November 1971) is a Pakistani cricket coach, commentator and former cricketer who captained Pakistan national cricket team. A right-arm fast bowler, Waqar Younis is regarded as one of the greatest bowlers to have played the game. He is the former head coach of the Pakistani cricket team.
