Usman Salahuddin
Usman Salahuddin ( ur, ; born 2 December 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer who was selected to play against the West Indies for the May 2011 series. Salahuddin averages 36 in List A cricket and 47 in First-class cricket. He represented Lahore Eagles team in Faysal Bank T20 Cup 2012–13 season. 2016 season he was signed by Newcastle city cricket club as their pro. In April 2017, he was added to Pakistan's Test squad for their series against the West Indies, but he did not play. He regained his place for the Test series against Sri Lanka played in September and October 2017, but again, did not play. In April 2018, he was named in Pakistan's Test squad for their tours to Ireland and England in May 2018. He made his Test debut against England on 1 June 2018. Pakistani Cricket Team In Ireland In 2018
The Pakistan cricket team visited Ireland in May 2018 to play a Test match against the Ireland cricket team. It was the first Test match played by the Ireland men's team since they were awarded Test status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in June 2017. The Ireland women's cricket team had previously played a Women's Test match, also against Pakistan, in July 2000. Pakistan won the one-off fixture by five wickets, with Ireland's Kevin O'Brien named as the man of the match, after he scored the first century for Ireland in Test cricket. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The 2020–21 Pakistan Cup was a List A cricket competition that took place in Karachi, Pakistan from 8 January to 31 January 2021. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions after they beat Baluchistan. However, after the new domestic structure announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), six newly formed regional teams were formed. In December 2020, it was announced that Aaron Summers would play in the tournament, becoming the first Australian cricketer to play in a domestic cricket competition in Pakistan, after signing with Southern Punjab cricket team. Following the conclusion of the group stage, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern and Central Punjab had all qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament. The 2020–21 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition that took place in Karachi, Pakistan, from 25 October 2020 to 5 January 2021. Central Punjab cricket team were the defending champions. Central Punjab started their title defence poorly, with no wins from their first five matches. Despite being bottom in the table at the half-way point of the tournament, they won four of the next five matches to finish second in the table, advancing to the final with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition that took place in Pakistan from 14 September to 31 December 2019. Habib Bank Limited were the defending champions. However, after the new domestic structure announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), six newly formed regional teams played in the tournament. During the opening round of fixtures, a concussion substitute was used for the first time in a domestic cricket match in Pakistan.
