Nate Perry
Nate Perry is an American rock bass player and songwriter. He grew up in Northern California and has been based in Los Angeles since 1999 where he has performed, toured and recorded with several artists including CSS, Manic, Middle Class Rut, Jesse Spencer of the Fox show ''House'', Fractional Importance, Stars Align, Art of Chaos, and Toadies guitarist Darrel Herbert. Nate currently produces concerts and special events for Live Nation Entertainment. Career File Nate Perry began his professional music career at 19 as a production bassist on cruise ships while pursuing a B.A. in music from Humboldt State University & The University of Memphis, where he appeared with The Memphis Symphony. Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles, he joined Fractional Importance who released three records independently; including ''Visions'', recorded by Don Kazarinoff ( Incubus). The Troubadour, West Hollywood
The Troubadour is a nightclub located in West Hollywood, California, United States, at 9081 Santa Monica Boulevard just east of Doheny Drive and the border of Beverly Hills. Inspired by a visit to the newly opened Troubadour café in London, it was opened in 1957 by Doug Weston as a coffee house on La Cienega Boulevard, then moved to its current location shortly after opening and has remained open continuously since. It was a major center for folk music in the 1960s, and subsequently for singer-songwriters and rock. Dwight David Yoakam (born October 23, 1956) is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and film director. He first achieved mainstream attention in 1986 with the release of his debut album '' Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc.''. Yoakam had considerable success throughout the late 1980s onward, with a total of ten studio albums for Reprise Records. Later projects have been released on Audium (now MNRK Music Group), New West, Warner, and Sugar Hill Records. Joel Petersen
Broken Spindles was a band solely consisting of Joel Petersen of Omaha, Nebraska, who also played bass, guitar and keyboards in The Faint. The music of Broken Spindles ranged from instrumental electronic songs to sparse piano pieces to rock-influenced pop songs. Broken Spindles originally started in 2001 as the soundtrack for a friend's film. It developed into a solo project with the first release in 2002 on Tiger Style Records. In between touring with the Faint and Beep Beep, Petersen found time to write music for Broken Spindles. The Echo is an American music venue and nightclub, located in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States.
