Nanning–Kunming Railway
The Nanning–Kunming railway, or Nankun railway (), is a single-track electrified railway in Southwest China between Nanning and Kunming, provincial capitals, respectively, of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Yunnan Province. Nanning–Kunming High-speed Railway
Nanning–Kunming high-speed railway (formerly known as the Yunnan–Guangxi high-speed railway) is a high-speed railway connecting Nanning and Kunming, respectively the capitals of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Yunnan Province. Positioned as part of China's "long-term railway network plan", to improve the layout and the development of South-Western China with critical infrastructure, it was Yunnan Province's first high-speed transport corridor to the sea. Chengdu–Kunming Railway
The Chengdu–Kunming railway or Chengkun railway (), is a major trunkline railroad in southwestern China between Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province and Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. The line is long and traverses rugged terrain from the Sichuan Basin to the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The line was built between 1958 and 1970. Major cities along route include Chengdu, Pengshan, Jiajiang, Emei, Ebian, Ganluo, Xide, Xichang, Dechang, Miyi and Panzhihua in Sichuan Province and Yuanmou, Lufeng, Anning and Kunming in Yunnan Province. Neijiang–Kunming Railway
The Neijiang–Kunming railway or Neikun railway (), is a single-track railroad between Neijiang and Kunming in Southwest China. The line runs from Neijiang in Sichuan province to Kunming in Yunnan province through western Guizhou province. The Neikun Line was built in three sections. The northern section, from Neijiang to Anbian township of Yibin and in length, was built from 1956 to 1960. The southern section from Kunming to Meihuashan station, near Liupanshui in Guizhou, and in length, was built from 1960 to 1965 and became the westernmost segment of the Guiyang-Kunming railway. The middle section between Anbian and Meihuashan through Zhaotong and in length was built from 1998 to 2001. Shanghai–Kunming Railway
The Shanghai–Kunming Railway or Hukun Railway (), also known as the Hukun Line, is a major arterial railroad across eastern, south central and southwest China. It connects Shanghai, whose shorthand name is ''Hu'', and Kunming. The line has a total length of 2,690 km and passes through Shanghai Municipality, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan Province. Weishe–Hongguo Railway
The Weishe–Hongguo railway or Weihong railway (), is a branch railroad of the Nanning–Kunming railway in Guizhou province of Southwest China. The Weihong Line branches off of the main Nankun Line at Weishe Township in Xingyi municipality and runs north to Hongguo Township in Liupanshui municipality, where the line connects to the Pan County West Railway. The Weishe–Hongguo railway was built as part of the Nankun railway, which was constructed from 1990 to 1997. Debao County
Debao (, zhuang: ) is a county of western Guangxi, China. It is under the administration of Baise City. Economy Bauxite mining is a major industry in Debao County. To facilitate the transportation of the ore, a 72-km single-track electrified railway branch was completed in 2010, connecting Debao with Tiandong on the Nanning-Kunming mainline. The bauxite and other local ores are shipped by rail to Qianxinan in Guizhou, Shihezi in Xinjiang, and to other metallurgical plants throughout the country. In the opposite direction, coal is brought to Debao from Guizhou, Shanxi, and from overseas (via the Fangchenggang port). There are also plans to extend this new railway further southwest from Debao, to the Longbang border crossing (Jingxi County) on the Vietnamese border.
