Neijiang–Kunming Railway
The Neijiang–Kunming railway or Neikun railway (), is a single-track railroad between Neijiang and Kunming in Southwest China. The line runs from Neijiang in Sichuan province to Kunming in Yunnan province through western Guizhou province. The Neikun Line was built in three sections. The northern section, from Neijiang to Anbian township of Yibin and in length, was built from 1956 to 1960. The southern section from Kunming to Meihuashan station, near Liupanshui in Guizhou, and in length, was built from 1960 to 1965 and became the westernmost segment of the Guiyang-Kunming railway. The middle section between Anbian and Meihuashan through Zhaotong and in length was built from 1998 to 2001. Zigong (, ), formed by the merger of the two former towns of Ziliujing (Tzuliuching, literally "self-flow well") and Gongjing (Kungching, literally "offering well"), is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan, southwestern China. Chongqing–Kunming High-speed Railway
The Chongqing–Kunming high-speed railway () is a high-speed railway line currently under construction in China. The line, which runs from Chongqing West to Kunming South, will be part of the Beijing–Kunming corridor. The line will be long and have a maximum speed of . The Shanghai–Kunming Railway or Hukun Railway (), also known as the Hukun Line, is a major arterial railroad across eastern, south central and southwest China. It connects Shanghai, whose shorthand name is ''Hu'', and Kunming. The line has a total length of 2,690 km and passes through Shanghai Municipality, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan Province. Chengdu–Chongqing Railway
Chengdu–Chongqing railway or Chengyu railway (), is a single-track electrified railroad in the Sichuan Basin of Southwest China between the cities Chengdu and Chongqing. Chongqing's short form name is Yu (渝) and the railway is named after the two cities. The line has a total length of . The Chengyu railway opened in 1952 and was the first railway to be built after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Qujing () is a prefecture-level city in the east of Yunnan province, China, bordering Guizhou province to the east and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to the southeast; thus, it was called "Key between Yunnan and Guizhou" () and "Throat of Yunnan" () in the past.
