Najibabad
Najibabad is a town in the Bijnor district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, located near the city of Bijnor. It is a major industrial city and is well connected to all major cities of India by roadways via NH 119 and NH 74 respectively and also by various trains. History Nawab Najib-ud-Daula, also known as Najib Khan was a noted Rohilla Muslim warrior and serviceman of both the Mughal Empire and the Durrani empire, Nawab Najib-ud-Daula was a noted Rohilla tribal chief in 18th century Rohilkhand. In the 1740s, he founded the city of Najibabad in Bijnor district, India where he established the present-day city of Najibabad, a state of Najibabad independent from Rohilla tribes, and received the title, "Nawab Najib-ud-Daulla". Akbar Shah Khan Najibabadi
Akbar Shah Khan Najibabadi (1875 – 10 May 1938) was an Indian Sunni Muslim historian who wrote ''Tarikh-e-Islam'' in three volumes. Biography Najibabadi was born in 1875 in Najibabad, Bijnor, United Provinces of British India. He began teaching in Najibabad Middle School in 1897 and later taught Persian in High School, Najibabad. During 1906 and 1914, he stayed in Qadian and embraced Ahmadism. He drew close to Hakeem Noor-ud-Din, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s successor, and wrote his biography entitled ''Mirqat al-Yaqin fi Hayati Nur al-Din'' in two volumes, the second of which remained unpublished because of his reversion back to Sunni Islam. In Qadian, Najibabadi was superintendent of the Madrasa Nur al-Islam of Ahmadis for five years. Najib ad-Dawlah ( ps, نجيب الدوله), also known as Najib Khan Yousafzai ( ps, نجيب خان), was a Rohilla Yousafzai Afghan who earlier served as a Mughal serviceman but later deserted the cause of the Mughals and joined Ahmed Shah Abdali in 1757 in his attack on Delhi. He was also a House chief of Rohilkhand, and in the 1740s founded the city of Najibabad in Bijnor district, India. He was instrumental in winning the Third Battle of Panipat. He began his career in 1743 as an immigrant from the village Swabi, District Swabi Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a soldier. He was an employee of Imad-ul-Mulk but later deserted the cause of the Mughals and joined Ahmed Shah Abdali in 1757 in his attack on Delhi. Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain
Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain was an Indian industrialist and philanthropist. He was the son-in-law of Ramkrishna Dalmia and former chairman of Bennett, Coleman. His family, Sahu Jains, owns the Times of India newspaper group. Early age and education He was born in the Sahu Jain Family at Najibabad in Uttar Pradesh on 22 May 1911. Bijnor district is one of the 75 districts in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Bijnor city is the district headquarters. Muhammad Ali Jauhar (10 December 1878 – 4 January 1931), was an Indian Muslim activist, prominent member of the All-India Muslim League, journalist and a poet, a leading figure of the Khilafat Movement and one of the founders of Jamia Millia Islamia.
