Nadi Astrology
Nādi Astrology (') is a form of astrology practiced in Tamil Nadu and adjacent regions in India. It is based on the belief that the present lives of many humans were foreseen by Hindu sages in ancient times. History In Tamil Nadu, the texts are mainly written in '' Vatteluttu'', which was an abugida script used to write Tamil up until the 12th century CE. The content of the manuscripts is often attributed to the Vedic sage Agastya who is believed to have possessed a highly developed consciousness. These ancient records of providence were made famous by practitioners around the Vaitheeshwaran Temple in the state of Tamil Nadu. Chandran Rutnam is a Sri Lankan filmmaker and entrepreneur. Rutnam has hosted numerous Hollywood films for their location shoots in Sri Lanka and Malaysia. He was the Line Producer/Production Supervisor on several international productions including the Sri Lankan location shoot of Paramount Pictures' ''Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'' (1984) and '' Indochine'' (1992). He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Film Location Services which mostly hosts foreign films to be shot in South and South East Asia. ''Chandrettan Evideya'' () is a 2015 Malayalam-language romantic fantasy comedy film directed by Sidharth Bharathan. The film was produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid and Ashiq Usman. Ola leaf is a palm leaf used for writing in traditional palm-leaf manuscripts and in fortunetelling ( horoscopes) in Southern India and Sri Lanka. The leaves are from the talipot tree, a type of palm, and fortunes are written on them and read by fortune tellers. It is believed that three thousand years ago the seven rishis, sages, wrote everyone's fortunes on the leaves. The National Library of Sri Lanka holds an ola-leaf manuscript collection. Sinhala letters are round-shaped and are written from left to right. They are the most circular-shaped script found in the Indic scripts. The evolution of the script to the present shapes may have taken place due to writing on ola leaves. Unlike chiseling on a rock, writing on palm leaves has to be more round-shaped to avoid the stylus ripping the Palm leaf while writing on it. Rajakumaran Rajaratnam (born June 15, 1957) is a Sri Lankan-American former hedge fund manager and founder of the Galleon Group, a New York-based hedge fund management firm.
