NK Vitez is football club based in Vitez, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club plays in Second League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Center. The club's crest has the sword in front of a football ball. It also features the year when the club was established. History The club was established after the second World War in 1947 under the name of Radnik. Aside of that name, it was also once called Sloga, but from 1954 it has the name Vitez. Ante Miše (born 14 June 1967) is a Croatian football manager and former professional football player who played as a midfielder. As a player, he earned 7 caps in friendlies for Croatia in the period from 1992 to 1994. Playing career Club In the 1980s and 90s spent most of his career at Hajduk Split. During his playing career with Hajduk he won the Yugoslav cup, three Croatian titles and three Croatian cups. Vjeran Simunić
Vjeran Simunić (born 26 April 1953) is Croatian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Treća HNL club NK Vodice. He holds the Croatian record for number of managed teams. Vodice is Simunić's 37th club. Playing career Simunić started his playing career in Hajduk Split in the 1970s. He did not get too many chances in Hajduk as the competition was very big at the time. After Hajduk, his next station was HNK Šibenik, then Dinamo Vinkovci and NK Zagreb, where he spent most of the playing career. In 1982 he made transfer to Sporting Lisabon. Slaven Musa (born 21 June 1971) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. He is mostly known for playing for Zrinjski Mostar, spending 6 years in total at the club, from 1992 to 1993 and from 1997 to 2002. Branko Karačić (born 24 September 1960) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of Croatian First Football League club Varaždin. Korona Kielce, , (Korona – ''Crown'' – symbol of club and city, Kielce – name of city where club is based) is a Polish football club, which will compete in Ekstraklasa in the 2022–23 season. Vitez ( sr-cyrl, Витез) is a town and municipality located in Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the 2013 census, the town has a population of 6,329 inhabitants, with 25,836 inhabitants in the municipality. Etymology The worvitezmeans knight in Bosnian and Croatian and Serbian. History Vitez was part of Bosnia until the decay of Bosnia when Ottoman Empire occupied this region. This was the period in Vitez got its name. It is known that the first settlement in nowadays urban area was formed around the mosque, built in 1590. Knowing that mosques are being erected in urban areas, it is logical to say that this settlement existed even before. Vitez is mentioned once again during an uprising against Turks led by Husein Gradaščević, when he defeated Turkish Army at Kosovo, after which he was named for Bosnian de facto ruler (Vezir).
