Nzega District
Nzega District is one of the seven districts of the Tabora Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Shinyanga Region, to the south and southwest by Uyui District and to the east by Igunga District. Its administrative seat is the town of Nzega. According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of Nzega District was 417,097. According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Nzega District was 502,252. Transport Paved Trunk road T3 from Morogoro to the Rwanda border and T8 from Tabora to Mwanza pass through the district. These roads meet in Nzega town. The Tanzanian Central Line train - from Tabora to Mwanza - passes through the district from south to north. A train station is located in Bukene. Tabora Region (''Mkoa wa Tabora'' in Swahili) is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The regional capital is the municipality of Tabora. The region is located in mid-western part of Tanzania. Uyui District is one of the seven districts of the Tabora Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Nzega District and Igunga District as well as by the Shinyanga Region, to the south by Sikonge District, to the west by Urambo District and Kaliua District, and to the east by the Singida Region. Igunga District
Igunga is one of the seven districts of the Tabora Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Shinyanga Region, to the east by the Singida Region, to the south by the Uyui District and to the west by the Nzega District. Morogoro
Morogoro is a city in the eastern part of Tanzania west of Dar es Salaam. Morogoro is the capital of the Morogoro Region. Tabora
Tabora is the capital of Tanzania's Tabora Region and is classified as a municipality by the Tanzanian government. It is also the administrative seat of Tabora Urban District. According to the 2012 census, the district had a population of 226,999. History Beginning in the 1830s, coastal traders increasingly settled in the region to take advantage of the ivory and slave caravan trade. Swahili and Omani traders established Kazeh, near present-day Tabora, in the 1850s. By 1870, Tabora was home to a population of 5,000-10,000 people living in roughly fifty large square houses. Mwanza
Mwanza City, also known as Rock City to the residents, is a port city and capital of Mwanza Region on the southern shore of Lake Victoria in north-western Tanzania. With an urban population of 1,182,000 in 2021, it is Tanzania's second largest city, after Dar es Salaam. It is also the second largest city in the Lake Victoria basin after Kampala, Uganda and ahead of Kisumu, Kenya at least in population size.
