Nyva Vinnytsia
FC Nyva Vinnytsia is a professional Ukrainian football club based in the city of Vinnytsia. The name "Nyva" translates to "grain field". The club was originally created in 1958 in the Soviet Union and folded in 2005 and 2012, but was reformed again in 2015 as Nyva-V and renamed back to Nyva in 2018. History Previous clubs A football team in Vinnytsia existed before the World War II as a local team of Vinnytsia city, which participated in championships among other cities. After the 1936 reorganization of football competition, the team then continued to play in lower tiers. Following World War II, in 1946 football in Vinnytsia was represented by the Spartak society. Tsentralnyi Stadion (Vinnytsia)
Central City Stadium ( uk, Центральний міський стадіон, Tsentralnyi miskyi stadion) is a multi-use stadium in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home of FC Nyva Vinnytsia and FC Vinnytsia. The stadium holds 24,000 people. History The stadium was built after World War II in 1949 by workers of Vinnytsia city and Southwestern Railways and was named as Lokomotyv (Lokomotyv Stadium). Before 1972, its capacity was 12,000 spectators. During 1972-1980, the stadium was completely renovated. There was built the stadium's bowl of reinforced concrete, installed lighting towers, radio communication, information screen, and seating capacity increased to 24,000 spectators. During the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, the stadium was hosting the Olympic flame as part of the 1980 Summer Olympics torch relay. Nyva Bershad is a Ukrainian football club and currently competes in the Vinnytsia Oblast Football League is from Bershad, Vinnytsia Oblast. History From 1996 the team competed in the Vinnytsia Oblast Football League replacing FC Sportinvest Kryvyi Rih. Bershad ( uk, Бершадь, translit., ''Bershad’''; pl, Berszad; ro, Berșad) is a town in the Vinnytsia Oblast (province) of Ukraine, located in the historic region of Podolia. It is the administrative center of the predominantly-agricultural Bershad Raion (district). Population: History Bershad was first mentioned in 1459. 1995–96 Ukrainian Cup
The Ukrainian Cup 1995–96 is the fifth annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup. The Cup started with the round of 32, but it also had couple of preliminaries. This season two legs rounds were discontinued and all rounds consisted of only one game. Also the extra tier was merged with the Second League. The competition kicked off on 1 August 1995 with 24 games. Five games were announced as a forfeit on 1 August, while one more on 1 October 1995.
