Nygårdstangen
Nygårdstangen is a small peninsula on the southeastern end of the city center of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The neighborhood borders the Store Lungegårdsvann bay. Most of the peninsula is occupied by an interchange. It is the meeting place of E16, E39, and National Road 555. Bergen (), historically Bjørgvin, is a city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway. , its population is roughly 285,900. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. Norwegian National Road 555
National Road 555 ( no, Riksvei 555) is a long national road which runs from the city center of Bergen to Kolltveit in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. Route In Bergen, the road has two branches, one two-lane from Nøstet via O.J. Brochs gate and on four-lane from Nygårdstangen, and the interchange with E16 and E39. The latter runs through the Nygård Tunnel before merging with the other branch and running across the six-lane Puddefjord Bridge. There, County Road 540 branches off into the Løvstakken Tunnel and County Road 582 branches off towards Laksevåg. 555 continues through the Damsgård Tunnel as a four-lane motorway, and at Nygård traffic towards the city center passes a toll collection and County Road 582 again intersects with 555. Fløyfjell Tunnel
The Fløyfjell Tunnel ( no, Fløyfjelltunnelen) is a road tunnel in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel goes through the Fløyfjellet mountain massif between the city neighborhoods of Sandviken and Kalfaret. The tunnel was built to provide a fast route around the city centre. The twin-tube tunnel was built in the late 1980s as part of the city's motorway network, and is part of the main route between the borough of Åsane and the rest of the city. Each of the tubes carries two lanes of traffic on the European route E39/European route E16. The two tubes differ slightly in length; the southern tube, which carries southbound traffic, is long and was opened in 1988, while the northern tube is long and was opened the following year.
