Busega District
Busega District is one of the five districts of Simiyu Region of Tanzania, East Africa. Its administrative centre is the town of Nyashimo. It is bordered to the north by Lake Victoria and Bunda District, to the east by Bariadi District, and to the south by Magu District. As of 2012, the population of Busega was 203,597. Busega was established in 2012, when it was split off from Magu District and became part of the newly established Simiyu Region. Transport Busega district is connected by two well-maintained and paved national trunk roads. The Mwanza-Musoma highway (trunk road T4) runs through the district from south to north. The highway that connects Shinyanga Region and Mara Region (trunk road T36) branches of the Musoma-Mwanza road in the town of Lamadi in Busega District and passes through the regional capital Bariadi. Simiyu Region
Simiyu Region (''Mkoa wa Simiyu'' in Swahili language, Swahili) is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative Regions of Tanzania, regions. The regional capital is the town of Bariadi. Simiyu Region is named after the Simiyu River. The region is home to the Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, shared with Mara Region. The region was created in March 2012, from part of Shinyanga Region. Mwanza
Mwanza City, also known as Rock City to the residents, is a port city and capital of Mwanza Region on the southern shore of Lake Victoria in north-western Tanzania. With an urban population of 1,182,000 in 2021, it is Tanzania's second largest city, after Dar es Salaam. It is also the second largest city in the Lake Victoria basin after Kampala, Uganda and ahead of Kisumu, Kenya at least in population size.
