Nuottasaari is a district of Oulu, Finland. It is located south of the city centre of Oulu. Nuottasaari is bounded by the delta of the Oulujoki river in the Northwest, the Bothnian Bay and the Äimärautio district in the South and the Limingantulli, Leveri and Hollihaka districts in the East. Nuottasaari is mainly industrial area with the Stora Enso pulp and paper mill dominating the scene. Port Of Oulu
Port of Oulu (''Oulun satama'' in Finnish) is a complex of three separate harbours located at the mouth of Oulujoki river in Oulu, Finland. Port of Oulu is a corporation owned by the City of Oulu. Annual average of 3 million tons of cargo is shipped on 500 vessels. Two of the ports, Nuottasaari and Oritkari, are also rail-served. Hollihaka
Hollihaka is a district of the city centre area of Oulu, Finland. It is bounded by the estuary of the Oulujoki river to the west, the Vanhatulli district to the north, the Leveri district to the east and the Nuottasaari district to the south. Together with the two latter districts, Hollihaka forms a neighbourhood called Heinäpää. Hollihaka is mainly residential area. Bothnian Bay
The Bothnian Bay or Bay of Bothnia (; ) is the northernmost part of the Gulf of Bothnia, which is in turn the northern part of the Baltic Sea. The land holding the bay is still rising after the weight of ice-age glaciers has been removed, and within 2,000 years the bay will be a large freshwater lake since its link to the south Kvarken is mostly less than deep. The bay today is fed by several large rivers, and is relatively unaffected by tides, so has low salinity. It freezes each year for up to six months. Compared to other parts of the Baltic it has little plant or animal life.
