Nunzio Impellizzeri
Nunzio Impellizzeri (born 1980) is an Italian-Swiss choreographer. He is based in Zürich. Early life and education Impellizzeri was born in 1980 in Acireale. He completed his studies in Visual Art at the Istituto Statale D’Arte di Giarre in Italy. After discovered dancing he began to study and practice dance at the pedagogical project MoDem improving his skills in classic and contemporary dance. Early career In 2000, Impellizzeri began his dancing career as a soloist with the Compagnia Zappalà Danza directed by Roberto Zappalà in Sicily. From 2004 to 2005 he has worked in Spain with the Compañia Metros Dansa directed by Ramón Oller Martínez; in Austria and Switzerland as a soloist dancer he worked with the choreographers Jacqueline Beck for the Walk Tanztheater Project Peter Bichsel in 2006 and the choreographer Kinsun Chan; from 2006 to 2007 in Germany for the ballet of the Theater Augsburg and for the Stadttheater Kempten Allgäu directed by Jochen Heckmann. Staatstheater Cottbus
The Staatstheater Cottbus is the only state theatre of the German federal state of Brandenburg in Cottbus. It has its own ensemble presenting plays, operas, operettas, musicals, orchestral concerts and ballet. The theatre had more than 130.000 spectators in 2013. History The theatre was built on demand by the citizens of Cottbus, a town flourishing around 1900 due to textile industry. The town assembly decided on 1 November 1905 to build a municipal theatre (Stadttheater) and held a competition. The commission was given to Bernhard Sehring, who had built the 1896 Theater des Westens in Berlin. In the Cottbus building, he combined architecture, crafts, painting and sculpture in Jugendstil. Neuhausen am Rheinfall (sometimes abbrv. as Neuhausen a. Rhf., called Neuhausen until 1938) is a town and a municipality in the canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland. Theater Basel
Theater Basel is the municipal theatre of the city of Basel, Switzerland, which is home to the city's opera and ballet companies. The theatre also presents plays and musicals in addition to operas and operettas. Because the theatre does not have its own orchestra, the Basel Symphony Orchestra is usually contracted to perform for opera and ballet productions as needed. Jessica Iwanson
Jessica Iwanson, (born 21 April 1948 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a choreographer and artistic director of Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich, Germany. Since 1974, Jessica Iwanson has lived in Munich, where for more than 30 years she strongly influenced the history of contemporary dance. 2001, she was awarded the medal 'München leuchtet' by the City of Munich for her lifework. Jessica Iwanson is one of the founders of the Choreographic Association of Munich (1987) and the Bavarian Association of Contemporary Dance (1997).
