Nukleuz
Nukleuz is a dance record label based in the Clapham area of London, UK. Nukleuz is the home to many artists and compilation series in various genres including trance, UK hardcore, tech house and hard house. Nukleuz was established as the new offshoot of Italian record label by UK Media Records boss Peter Pritchard in 1996. The very first releases on the label were more focused around the funky house genre but within a couple of years the label was releasing its first UK hard house productions. Their production output developed pace considerably towards the end of the last millennium and in 2001, Nukleuz won the "Dance Label of the Year" award at the ''Music Week'' 's annual awards. This was an award achieved through selling merit, not the personal tastes of a judging panel. Lisa Pin-Up (born Lisa Chilcott) is a British electronic dance music producer and DJ, whose career started in the 1990s. She is a hard house producer and part of the Nukleuz label. She is also a part-time model and ranked number 54 in '' Loaded'' 's Hot 100 babes in 2002. BK (musician)
BK is the working name of the English hard house producer Ben Keen (born 16th October 1975, Woodford, London). His "Revolution" single became one of the few hard house records to receive regular airplay on daytime BBC Radio 1, and between 1995 and 2005, he produced over one hundred 12" singles. He was the last artist to reach the UK Singles Chart with a vinyl only release ("Revolution"). He secured six hits in the UK chart. BK started his career in production at the age of 16, when employed as a trainee engineer. He moved later to writing music for both film and television, having gained recording studio experience at Media Records. He progressed to recording his own music for Nukleuz Records, and performing worldwide as a club DJ. Darren Styles
Darren James Mew (born 23 May 1975), better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & the Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as " Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and " Paradise & Dreams". In the early 2000s, Styles began producing more trance-influenced records with Mark Brady as Styles & Breeze. The duo released two hit singles "You're Shining" (2004) and "Heartbeatz" (2005) which both reached the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. Hardcore (also known as hardcore techno or hardcore house) is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in the early 1990s. Hard House
UK hard house or simply hard house is a style of electronic dance music that emerged in the early 1990s and is synonymous with its association to the Trade club and the associated DJs there that created the style. It often features a speedy tempo (around 150 BPM but hard house ranges from around 135 BPM to around 165 BPM), offbeat bass stabs, hoovers and horns. It usually contains a break in the middle of the track where no drums are present. UK hard house often uses a long and sharp string note to create suspense. Most of the time, the drops are introduced by a drum roll. Maurice Joseph François Engelen (born 7 January 1959), known by his stage name Praga Khan, is a Belgian electronic musician. Khan is considered one of the leading pioneers of the new beat/acid house/techno electronic dance music scene that originated in Belgium.
