Nuggehalli Pankaja (born 2 June 1929) is an Indian writer and poet in the Kannada and English language English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. It is named after the Angles, one of the ancient Germanic peoples that migrated to the is ...s. She is considered one of the notable writers in the Kannada language. Her works include novels, short stories, and plays. She was conferred the Excellence in World Poetry Award by the International Academy for English Poetry. Some of her novels have been made into movies in Kannada.
