Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH), literally meaning ''Our little brothers and sisters'', is a charitable organization that has provided a home for thousands of orphans and abandoned children since 1954. Currently there are NPH homes in nine Latin American countries. Mission & Philosophy The official mission of NPH is "to provide shelter, food, clothing, healthcare and education in a Christian family environment based on unconditional acceptance and love, sharing, working and responsibility." Self-sufficiency is a cornerstone of the NPH philosophy; thus, many NPH homes grow much of their own food. Each home also has its own primary and secondary school, clinic, and chapel. Reciprocity is another foundational ideal of NPH, which is why every pequeno must give a year of service at their home after graduating high school and before going to college. NPHI Logo

NPH USA is a non-profit organization operating in Latin America and the Caribbean to support the homes, health services, and educational programs of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters"). They aim to help children overcome poverty and become leaders in their own communities. NPH is fully supporting nearly 3,100 boys and girls in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. An additional 3,200 community children receive scholarships, meals, health care, and other support. More than 114,000 services were provided through community outreach programs in 2018. Father William B. Wasson (December 21, 1923 - August 16, 2006) was an United States of America, American Catholic priest. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, but moved to Mexico where he trained as a priest. San Vicente De Cañete
San Vicente de Cañete, commonly known as San Vicente or Cañete, is a city and capital of the Cañete Province, in southern Lima Region. With a population of 85,533 (2015 estimate). The warm and peaceful town of Cañete is located just one and a half hour to the south of Lima (144 km) and serves, for tourists, primarily as a gateway to the Lunahuaná, Lunahuaná District.
