"Nuestro Amor" is a song by Mexican pop group RBD, released as the lead single from the group's second studio album of the same name on 25 August 2005. The song was used to promote the second season of the soap opera ''Rebelde''. Background and release The Mexican telenovela ''Rebelde'' began production of its second season in 2005. The group (who lead the cast of young actors in the show) recorded their second studio album and toured while on break. "Nuestro Amor" was released on 25 August as the album's lead single, and it was used as the new theme song for the show. Unlike the first season, parts of the music video were not used for the intro. Following the success of the band's Brazilian edition of their debut album, production decided to give ''Nuestro Amor'' the same treatment, and had the group record a Portuguese version titled ''Nosso Amor Rebelde''. The album was released on September 22, 2005, in Mexico, selling over 127,000 units in its first seven hours of release in the country, and 160,000 in the first week, enough for it to be certified Platinum almost instantly. Latin Pop Airplay (also referred to as Latin Pop Songs) is a record chart published on ''Billboard'' magazine and a subchart of the Latin Airplay chart. The chart focuses on Latin pop music, namely Spanish-language pop music. It was established by the magazine on October 8, 1994 as a subchart of the Hot Latin Songs chart until October 2012 when the Hot Latin Songs changed its methodology. Jardines del Pedregal ( en, Rocky Gardens) or simply El Pedregal (full name: El Pedregal de San Angel) is an upscale residential '' colonia'' (neighborhood) in southern Mexico City hosting some of the richest families of Mexico.
