Nuestra Belleza Nayarit 2011, was held at the Disco Palazzo of Tepic, Nayarit on July 8, 2011. At the conclusion of the final night of competition Linda Ugarte from Tepic was crowned the winner. Ugarte was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza Nayarit Mexicana Universal Nayarit, formerly called Nuestra Belleza Nayarit is a beauty pageant held in Nayarit, Mexico, that selects that state's representative for the national Mexicana Universal pageant. Tepic
Tepic () is the capital and largest city of the western Mexican state of Nayarit, as well as the seat of the Tepic Municipality. Located in the central part of the state, it stands at an altitude of above sea level, on the banks of the Río Mololoa and the Río Tepic, approximately north-west of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Nearby are the extinct Sangangüey volcano and its crater lake. Tepic is the primary urban center of this rich agricultural region; major crops include sugarcane, tobacco and citrus fruits. The city was founded in 1531 as ''Villa del Espíritu Santo de la Mayor España''. Population Indigenous population Tepic has the second-largest indigenous population in the State of Nayarit, 4,375. Nayarit
Nayarit (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Nayarit ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Nayarit), is one of the 31 states that, along with Mexico City, comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided in 20 municipalities and its capital city is Tepic. It is bordered by the states of Sinaloa to the northwest, Durango to the north, Zacatecas to the northeast and Jalisco to the south. To the west, Nayarit has a significant share of coastline on the Pacific Ocean, including the islands of Marías and Marietas. The beaches of San Blas and the so-called "Riviera Nayarit" are popular with tourists. Besides tourism, the economy of the state is based mainly on agriculture and fishing. Mexicana Universal Nayarit, formerly called Nuestra Belleza Nayarit is a beauty pageant held in Nayarit, Mexico, that selects that state's representative for the national Mexicana Universal pageant. Nuestra Belleza México
Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Currently, the pageant is responsible for selecting the country’s delegates to Miss Universe, Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Charm International, and Nuestra Latinoamericana Universal. The current Mexicana Universal is Irma Miranda of Sonora, who will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022. The organization is directed by the nation's first Miss Universe titleholder, Lupita Jones (1991). Who originally produced the pageant as Nuestra Belleza México in association with the Televisa TV network. In october of 2017, the organization parted ways with Televisa, and found a new home for the pageant's broadcasting in rival network TV Azteca, rebranding the pageant due to televisa still owning the trademark, and changing the format. The National System for Integral Family Development ( es, Sistema Nacional para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, links=no; SNDIF or just DIF) is a Mexican public institution of social assistance that focuses on strengthening and developing the welfare of the Mexican families.
