Novolipetsk Steel, or NLMK, is one of the four largest steel companies in Russia. NLMK's share of domestic crude steel production is about 21%. Lipetsk ( rus, links=no, Липецк, p=ˈlʲipʲɪtsk), also romanized as Lipeck, is a city and the administrative center of Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, located on the banks of the Voronezh River in the Don basin, southeast of Moscow. VIZ-Stal is a producer of cold-rolled electrical steels and the largest producer of grain-oriented electrical steel in Russia. Its share of global grain-oriented electrical steel production is almost 11 per cent. Over 80 per cent of its products are exported. Geography and history VIZ-Stal was established based on the production facilities of OJSC Verkh-Isetsk plant.
