Noureddine Zekri
Noureddine Zekri (born 1964 in Batna) is an Algerian football manager who last managed Damac in Saudi Professional League. Zekri previously managed MC Alger in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 before resigning on July 10, 2011. Managerial career Zekri gained his coaching badges, a UEFA Pro License, in Italy's famous football coaching centre, the FIGC Settore Tecnico Coverciano. Brera Calcio Zekri started coaching the newly born Milan-based team Brera Calcio in 2000 in Serie D, but he was sacked shortly after and replaced with Walter Zenga. He returned to Brera Calcio in 2005/2006 season and the following season he succeeded in getting the team promoted from Prima Categoria to Promozione, resigning immediately after. The Prima Categoria is a level of football in Italy. It is the seventh level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system and is organized by the National Amateur League by the Regional Committees. Each individual league winner within the Prima Categoria level progresses to their closest regional league in the Promozione level. The Algerian Cup ( ar, كأس الجزائر) also known the Republic Cup ( ar, كأس الجمهورية), is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993. The most successful clubs in this competition are USM Alger, CR Belouizdad, ES Setif and MC Alger with eight trophies for each. Abdelhakim Serrar (born 24 April 1961 in Sétif) is an Algerian former professional football player who won the African Nations Cup in 1990 and is one of a few that won the Afro-Asian Cup for both club and country. Serrar played as a central defender throughout his career for Entente sportive de Sétif. He is currently the president of ES Sétif, and since his presidency the club has been arguably one of the best teams in the division, if not the best.
