''Norwegian Ninja'' ( no, Kommandør Treholt & ninjatroppen) is a 2010 Norwegian Action comedy film, action comedy film, directed by Thomas Cappelen Malling. The film, based on a 2006 book, presents real-life espionage-convicted Arne Treholt as the leader of a ninja group saving Norway during the Cold War and stars Mads Ousdal as Treholt. The film is loosely based on the story of Norwegian politician and diplomat Arne Treholt, who in 1985 was convicted of high treason and espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union and Iraq. In 2006, Thomas Cappelen Malling wrote the book ''Ninjateknikk II. Usynlighet i strid 1978'' ("Ninja Technique II: Invisibility in combat 1978"). Thomas Cappelen Malling (born 16 December 1970) is a Norway, Norwegian author and director, born in Kongsvinger. He hails from the Communications Industry, where he worked in Strategic planning. In 2006, Malling wrote the book ''Ninjateknikk II. Usynlighet i strid 1978'' ("Ninja Technique II: Invisibility in combat 1978"). The book was presented as a military manual written in 1978 by Arne Treholt, who in 1985 was convicted of high treason and espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union and Iraq. In spite of the fact that he had no previous experience from the movie industry, Malling in December 2008 received Norwegian krone, NOK 10,5 million in support from the Norwegian Film Institute to make a film based on the book. Olav V Of Norway
Olav V (; born Prince Alexander of Denmark; 2 July 1903 – 17 January 1991) was the King of Norway from 1957 until his death in 1991. Olav was the only child of King Haakon VII of Norway and Maud of Wales. He became heir apparent to the Norwegian throne when his father was elected King of Norway in 1905.
