Irish Rugby Football Union
The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) ( ga, Cumann Rugbaí na hÉireann) is the body managing rugby union in the island of Ireland (both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). The IRFU has its head office at 10/12 Lansdowne Road and home ground at Aviva Stadium, where adult men's Irish rugby union international matches are played. Bob Casey (rugby Player)
Bob Casey (born 18 July 1978) is an Irish former rugby union footballer who used to play at lock for London Irish until his retirement at the end of the 2011/2012 season. He was later Operations Director and then the CEO at the same club until he resigned in March 2017. Originally from Maynooth, County Kildare, he was educated at Blackrock College, a Dublin secondary school renowned for producing international rugby players. Casey is currently a consultant for Korn Ferry in Dublin. Club career Casey joined Leinster in 1999 and played three seasons before moving to London Irish in July 2002, having previously played for Blackrock College RFC and North Kildare RFC. Leinster League Division Three is the third division of the Leinster League and started in the 1994/95 season. The number of teams was reduced from 14 to 13 in 2007/2008, and again from 13 to 9 in 2008/2009. Leinster Towns Cup
The Provincial Towns Cup was established in 1888 and is one of the oldest trophies in existence in Irish rugby union. The trophy itself was purchased in 1892 for £25 from Wests in Dublin and bears the title of Leinster Junior Challenge Cup. In 1925, the Leinster Rugby, Leinster branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union reorganized its junior competitions. The Leinster Junior Challenge Cup became the Provincial Towns Cup. Will Connors (born 4 April 1996) is an Irish rugby union player for Pro14 and European Rugby Champions Cup side Leinster, and for the Ireland national rugby union team. He plays in the back-row, primarily as an flanker. Early life Connors was born in Donadea, County Kildare and attended Clongowes Wood College, where he played on the school's Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup side.
