Nordic Golf League
The Nordic Golf League is one of the four PGA European Tour-recognised third-tier men's professional golf tours that are known as the Satellite Tours. The top five players on the rankings list at the end of each season earn a place on the second tier Challenge Tour for the following year. For 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, other rules were decided for qualification for the 2021 Challenge Tour. The Nordic Golf League is based in Scandinavia, and consists primarily of tournaments on the national tours of Denmark (Danish Golf Tour, currently titled as the ECCO Tour for sponsorship reasons) and Sweden (Swedish Golf Tour, currently titled as the MoreGolf Mastercard Tour for sponsorship reasons). Beginning in July 2015, Nordic Golf League tournaments carry Official World Golf Ranking points. Jens Dantorp
Jens Morgan Dantorp (born 28 April 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. He has won three times on the Challenge Tour. Professional career Dantorp turned professional in 2008 and played on the Nordic Golf League, winning eight times between 2008 and 2012. He won four tournaments in 2011 and topped the Order of Merit. Dantorp played on the Challenge Tour in 2012 and 2013, picking up his first win in August 2013 at the Rolex Trophy. At the end of 2013 he qualified for the main tour in 2014. 2014 was a disappointing season and he returned to the Challenge Tour in 2015. Dantorp finished runner-up in the 2015 Kärnten Golf Open and finished 24th in the Challenge Tour Order of Merit. Morten Ørum Madsen
Morten Ørum Madsen (born 9 April 1988) is a Danish professional golfer. He played on the European Tour from 2013 to 2016, winning the South African Open Championship in late 2013. Early life and amateur career Madsen was born in Silkeborg. He took up golf at the age of 12, and enjoyed a successful amateur career. He played for Denmark in the 2008 Eisenhower Trophy and again in 2010 Eisenhower Trophy, 2010, being part of the team that took the silver medal in 2010. He attended Oregon State University from 2008 to 2011. Axel Bóasson
Axel Bóasson (born 3 June 1990) is an Icelandic professional golfer. In 2017, he became Iceland's first winner on the Nordic Golf League and won the Nordic Golf League Order of Merit. He also won the mixed team gold and the men's silver at the 2018 European Golf Team Championships at Gleneagles, Scotland. Early life and amateur career Bóasson was born in Reykjavík. He won the Icelandic Championship in 2011 and represented Iceland at the 2011 European Amateur Team Championship and the 2012 Eisenhower Trophy. The 2017 Nordic Golf League was the 19th season of the Nordic Golf League, one of four third-tier tours recognised by the European Tour. Niklas Nørgaard Møller
Niklas Nørgaard Møller (born 31 May 1992) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Career Møller was part of the Danish National Team and played in the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy in Japan. He appeared in the European Amateur Team Championship three times between 2013 and 2015, collecting a silver medal in 2015 at Halmstad Golf Club, after losing the final to Scotland. Møller turned professional ahead of the 2016 season and joined the Nordic Golf League. Mikael Johan Lindberg (born 12 January 1993) is a Swedish professional golfer and European Tour player. He won the 2022 Indoor Golf Group Challenge. Professional career Lindberg turned professional in 2013 and joined the Nordic Golf League. He recorded his maiden professional victory at the 2016 Trummenäs Open. Christopher Feldborg Nielsen (born 15 September 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer. He has five wins on the Nordic Golf League (NGL) and won the 2021 NGL Order of Merit to earn promotion to the Challenge Tour after he shot an albatross on the final hole of the Road to Europe Tour Final. Professional career Feldborg Nielsen was born in Ystad, Sweden. He turned professional in 2012 and started playing on the Swedish Golf Tour. John Axelsen
John Paul Pultz Pinnerup Axelsen (born 23 January 1998) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He was a member of the Danish team that won the Eisenhower Trophy in 2018. He has won four times on the Nordic Golf League as well as winning the Nordic Golf League Order of Merit in 2022. Amateur career Axelsen was born in Holbæk, Denmark and was introduced to golf by his father when he was 5.
