Nordenskiold Glacier, West Greenland
Nordenskiold Glacier ( da, Nordenskiöld Gletscher), is a large glacier in Qeqertalik Municipality, on the Western coast of Greenland. Geography This glacier has its terminus south of Disko Bay and north of Arfersiorfik Fjord. It drains the Greenland ice sheet ( kl, Sermersuaq) westwards into the Tasiusarsuaq. Greenland ( kl, Kalaallit Nunaat, ; da, Grønland, ) is an island country in North America that is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Glacier
A glacier (; ) is a persistent body of dense ice that is constantly moving under its own weight. A glacier forms where the accumulation of snow exceeds its Ablation#Glaciology, ablation over many years, often Century, centuries. It acquires distinguishing features, such as Crevasse, crevasses and Serac, seracs, as it slowly flows and deforms under stresses induced by its weight. As it moves, it abrades rock and debris from its substrate to create landforms such as cirques, moraines, or fjords. Although a glacier may flow into a body of water, it forms only on land and is distinct from the much thinner sea ice and lake ice that form on the surface of bodies of water. On Earth, 99% of glacial ice is contained within vast ice sheets (also known as "continental glaciers") in the polar regions, but glaciers may be found in mountain ranges on every continent other than the Australian mainland, including Oceania's high-latitude oceanic island countries such as New Zealand. Qeqertalik
Qeqertalik (, da, Den Ene med Øerne, lit=The One with Islands) is a municipality of Greenland created in 2018 from four southern regions of the former Qaasuitsup Municipality. Geography Qeqertalik Municipality is flanked in the south by the Qeqqata municipality and in the northeast by Avannaata. Over the ice cap, it is bordered in the east by the Sermersooq municipality, however this border runs north–south ( 45° West meridian) through the center of the Greenland ice sheet ( kl, Sermersuaq), and as such is free of traffic. Communities of Qeqertalik encircle Disko Bay, an inlet of the larger Baffin Bay, while the northeastern shores and Nuussuaq Peninsula belong to the neighboring municipality of Avannaata. Disko Bay

Arfersiorfik Fjord
Arfersiorfik Fjord is a large fjord along the western coast of Greenland, between the town of Aasiaat to the north and Nordre Strømfjord to the south. The name of this inlet means "the place where the whale was sighted". Geography The entrance to the fjord is on the Davis Strait, and it extends eastward for a distance of to the inland ice sheet. The islands of Qorsunnitsoq and Tunertooq are on the northern side midway within the fjord. Located along the northern shore of the fjord, near the entrance, is the settlement of Niaqornaarsuk. The Greenland ice sheet ( da, Grønlands indlandsis, kl, Sermersuaq) is a vast body of ice covering , roughly near 80% of the surface of Greenland. It is sometimes referred to as an ice cap, or under the term ''inland ice'', or its Danish equivalent, ''indlandsis''. An acronym, GIS, is frequently used in the scientific literature. It is the second largest ice body in the world, after the Antarctic ice sheet. The ice sheet is almost long in a north–south direction, and its greatest width is at a latitude of 77°N, near its northern margin. The average thickness is about and over at its thickest point.
