Noot Vir Noot
''Noot vir Noot'' (Afrikaans for "Note for Note", i.e. music-note for a cash-note) is an Afrikaans language musical quiz show broadcast on SABC 2 on South African television. It is the longest continually running television game show in South Africa and Africa. The show was first broadcast in 1991 and was presented by Johan Stemmet, who retired on 27 January 2019. The production company, which also owns the format, is Stemmburg Television, named after its founders, Stemmet, and former musical leader Johan van Rensburg. As of season 44, which premiered on 15 August 2019 with a new format and style, the show is hosted by musician Emo Adams, with resident DJ, DJ Shelly (Rochelle de Bruyn) providing musical clues, replacing the band. Johan Stemmet moved to behind the scenes, taking on a producer role. On 27 July 2016, ''Noot vir Noot'' celebrated 25 years on air. Noot Seear
Noot Seear (born Renata Seear; October 5, 1983) is a Canadian fashion model and actress. Life and career Seear was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was discovered in a shopping mall by a scout from the Look agency in Vancouver when she was 14 years old. She then began modelling in her home town in 1996. In 1997, she moved to New York City in order to further her career and gain more exposure. Seear's catwalk debut came in September 1998 at New York Fashion Week, where she walked for Calvin Klein, Daryl K and Ralph Lauren. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Kenzo, Alor, Pantene Pro-V, Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans, Kenneth Cole, Neiman Marcus, Alberta Ferretti, Rolex and Yves Saint Laurent, where she was memorably styled as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci for the Rive Gauche ad campaign in 1998. Pingu
''Pingu'' is a stop-motion children's television series co-created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann. It was originally produced from 1990 to 2000 by Swiss company The Pygos Group (originally called Trickfilmstudio) for SF DRS in Switzerland. It was later revived from 2003 to 2006 for CBeebies by British companies HIT Entertainment and Hot Animation. The series focuses on a family of anthropomorphic emperor penguins who live in the South Pole; the main character is the family's son and title character, Pingu. The series originally ran for four series from 7 March 1990 to 9 April 2000 on SF DRS. It was then renewed for two more series from 1 August 2003 to 3 March 2006 on CBeebies.
