Noot Seear (born Renata Seear; October 5, 1983) is a Canadian fashion model and actress. Life and career Seear was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was discovered in a shopping mall by a scout from the Look agency in Vancouver when she was 14 years old. She then began modelling in her home town in 1996. In 1997, she moved to New York City in order to further her career and gain more exposure. Seear's catwalk debut came in September 1998 at New York Fashion Week, where she walked for Calvin Klein, Daryl K and Ralph Lauren. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Kenzo, Alor, Pantene Pro-V, Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans, Kenneth Cole, Neiman Marcus, Alberta Ferretti, Rolex and Yves Saint Laurent, where she was memorably styled as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci for the Rive Gauche ad campaign in 1998. Mario Sorrenti (born 24 October 1971) is an Italian-American photographer and director best known for his spreads of nude models in the pages of ''Vogue'' and '' Harper's Bazaar''. Early life Sorrenti was born in Naples, Italy, and moved to New York City at the age of ten where he is still based. He is the son of New York-based creative director and fashion photographer Francesca Sorrenti. He is the older brother of fashion photographer Davide Sorrenti, who died from a kidney ailment in February 1997. Career Sorrenti has held exhibitions in London (Victoria and Albert Museum), Paris, Monaco and New York City (Museum of Modern Art). Lee Alexander McQueen CBE (17 March 1969 – 11 February 2010) was a British fashion designer and couturier. He founded his own Alexander McQueen label in 1992, and was chief designer at Givenchy from 1996 to 2001.
