Rajput (from Sanskrit ''raja-putra'' 'son of a king') is a large multi-component cluster of castes, kin bodies, and local groups, sharing social status and ideology of genealogical descent originating from the Indian subcontinent. Jeff Noon (born 1957 in Droylsden, Lancashire, England) is a British novelist, short story writer and playwright whose works make use of word play and fantasy. Noon's speculative fiction books have ties to the works of writers such as Lewis Carroll and Jorge Luis Borges. Prior to his relocation in 2000 to Brighton, Noon set most of his stories in some version of his native city of Manchester. Novels Noon's first four novels, which share ongoing characters and settings, are commonly referred to as the 'Vurt series' (after the first novel). Jamie Darren Noon (born 9 May 1979 in Goole) is a retired rugby union footballer who played at centre. Career Hard-running centre Noon joined the Newcastle Falcons for the 1998-99 Allied Dunbar Premiership, after a letter from one of his school teachers alerted the club to a player who had been totally missed by the representative rugby system in Yorkshire. Gladys Noon Spellman (born Gladys Blossom Noon; March 1, 1918 – June 19, 1988) was an American educator who served as the U.S. Representative for Maryland's 5th congressional district from January 3, 1975, to February 24, 1981, when her seat was declared vacant after she fell into a coma the previous year. Frank Noon
Frank Noon (born 25 December 1959 in London) is a British drummer who played with the bands Def Leppard and Roadhouse. Career Frank Noon was a member of the trio The Next Band before, during, and after the time he was in Def Leppard, and played on The Next Band's ''Four by Three E.P.'' Noon played on Def Leppard's '' The Def Leppard E.P.'' in 1979. Noon was never an official member of Def Leppard. Although he was asked to join permanently, he declined the offer to stay with The Next Band. He was preceded in Def Leppard by original drummer Tony Kenning and succeeded by current drummer Rick Allen. About thirteen years later, he played in the band Roadhouse with Pete Willis, who was a member of Def Leppard when Noon performed with them.
