Nokia 6150
The Nokia 6150 was a mobile phone released in 1998. It was an enhanced version of the Nokia 6110 - 6130: it could support both 900 MHz and 1800-1900 MHz GSM bands. The extra hardware required for dual-band capability (something uncommon for the era as transceivers were single-band initially) made the top side thicker than the 6110. Nokia 6110
The Nokia 6110 was a GSM mobile phone from Nokia announced on 18 December 1997 and released in 1998. It is not to be confused with the newer Nokia 6110 Navigator. It was a hugely popular follower of the Nokia 2110, and the first of the many Nokia 6xxx series business-targeted phones. Main improvements over the 2110 were reduced size and improved talk time. It was the first GSM phone to use an ARM processor, as well as the first running on Nokia's Series 20 user interface. The phone shared the same platform as the Nokia 5110 targeted at the consumer market; unlike the 5110, however, it had the advanced user interface with menu icons (it was the first phone with this new interface that would become the future standard), and featured an infra-red port (once again being Nokia's first phone with it). Nokia 6210
The Nokia 6210 is a mobile phone made by Nokia. It was introduced at the CeBIT fair in Hanover in February 2000, succeeding the Nokia 6110. In addition to calling and SMS messaging, it has many other features, including an alarm clock, HSCSD modem, WAP web client, three games (Snake 2, Pairs II and Opposite), calculator, to-do list application, calendar, infrared connectivity, voice recorder, and stopwatch. The plastic detail below the keypad, which Nokia called the Personal Badge, is removable; for a time, Nokia sent free promotional replacements, screen-printed with text of the customer's choosing. Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W220)
The Mercedes-Benz W220 was a range of flagship sedans which, as the fourth generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class, replaced the W140 S-Class after model year 1998 — with long and short wheelbase versions, performance and luxury options; available four-wheel drive; and a range of diesel as well as gas/petrol V6, V8, and V12 engines. Compared to its predecessor, the W220 had somewhat smaller exterior dimensions but offered greater interior volume, particularly in the long-wheelbase versions, and slightly less cargo volume. Development began in 1992, with the final design, under the direction of Steve Mattin, approved in June 1995 and frozen in March 1996. The completed prototypes were presented in June 1998. COMAND
Cockpit Management and Data system - COMAND for short - acts as a combined command and control centre for all audio, telematics and telecommunications functions on Mercedes-Benz vehicles and includes a dedicated flat display screen. In addition to the GPS navigation system and general processing and control logic, COMAND includes components such as an address book, telephone, radio and in many cases a CD/DVD drive. It is connected to other (often separate) devices such as CD/DVD changers, sound system and surround sound amplifier, TV receiver and the optional Linguatronic voice control system via an optical fibre network.
