The Nokia 1208 is a low-end GSM mobile phone sold by the Finnish company Nokia under their Ultrabasic series. The phone was announced in May 2007. It is very similar to Nokia 1200, the difference being the color display. The phone sold 100 million units, making it one of the most successful phones to date, along with Nokia 1200, which sold 150 million units. A feature phone (also spelled featurephone) is a type or class of mobile phone that retains the form factor of earlier generations of mobile telephones, typically with press-button based inputs and a small non-touch display. Series 30
The Series 30, often shortened as S30, is a software platform and application user interface created by Nokia for its entry level mobile phones, lower than Series 40. S30 phones are not capable of running Java apps. In 2014, Microsoft acquired Nokia's mobile phones business and later discontinued S30 in favor of Series 30+. Originally, S30 was supposed to have just one menu key, but a second one was added with the release of the Nokia 1110.
