Noblesse Oblige (TV Series)
''Noblesse Oblige'' (; literally "The Realm of Unusual Officials") is a 2014 till 2015 Hong Kong period drama set during the later years of Kangxi Emperor's Qing dynasty rule. Produced by Lee Tim-sing, it stars Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung as the main leads, with Joel Chan, Benjamin Yuen, Ram Chiang and Cilla Kung as the major supporting cast. The drama was filmed from January till April 2014. First original broadcast began on Hong Kong's Jade and HD Jade channels December 29, 2014 till January 24, 2015 every Monday through Friday during its 8:30-9:30 pm timeslot with a total of 21 episodes, the last two episodes were aired on the same night as a two-hour finale. Kangxi Emperor
The Kangxi Emperor (4 May 1654– 20 December 1722), also known by his temple name Emperor Shengzu of Qing, born Xuanye, was the third emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the second Qing emperor to rule over China proper, reigning from 1661 to 1722. The Kangxi Emperor's reign of 61 years makes him the longest-reigning emperor in Chinese history (although his grandson, the Qianlong Emperor, had the longest period of ''de facto'' power, ascending as an adult and maintaining effective power until his death) and one of the longest-reigning rulers in history. Celine Ma
Leung Wing-ngan () (born 6 December 1967), better known by her stage name Celine Ma Tai-lo (), is a Hong Kong actress and singer. She is best known for her role as May May in the long running TVB television series '' A Kindred Spirit''. Career Celine Ma had participated in the New Talent Singing Awards organised by TVB and Capital Artists. She also worked as a DJ at Commercial Radio Hong Kong, where she was in charge of the traffic bulletin, thus obtaining her stage name Ma Tai Lo (馬蹄露). After entering TVB, she made her debut in '' A Kindred Spirit'' as May May, her most well known role. The episode where her character attempted suicide was the highest rated episode during the series' four-year run from 1995-1999. Fuquan (prince)
Fuquan （ (8 September 1653 – 10 August 1703), formally known as Prince Yu (裕), Prince Yu, was a Manchu people, Manchu prince of the Qing dynasty. He was the second son of the Shunzhi Emperor and a half-brother of the Kangxi Emperor. Life Fuquan was born in the Manchu people, Manchu Aisin Gioro clan as the second son of the Shunzhi Emperor. His mother was Consort Ningque (寧愨妃) from the Donggo (董鄂) clan. Fuquan was conferred the title of "Prince Yu of the First Rank" (裕親王) on February 6, 1671. ''Noblesse oblige'' (; ; literally “nobility obliges”) is a French expression from a time when French (more specifically, Anglo-Norman) was the language of the English nobility, and retains in English the meaning that nobility extends beyond mere entitlement, requiring people who hold such status to fulfill social responsibilities. ''Three Kingdoms RPG'' is a 2012 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB, with Lau Kar-ho serving as the drama's executive producer. It stars Kenneth Ma as Szema Shun, a young Hong Kong game addict, who accidentally travels back in time to the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. Plot Vincent Szema (Kenneth Ma) is a game addict who goes back to the Three Kingdoms period, and meets many historical figures. He becomes Zhuge Liang's trusted advisor and utilized modern strategies to overcome issues and obstacles. Vincent then develops feelings for a female servant in the kingdom of Shu.
