Noah Powder
Noah Powder (born 27 October 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Northern Colorado Hailstorm in the USL League One. Born in the United States, he represents the Trinidad and Tobago national team. Career Powder began his career in the New York Red Bulls Academy and trained with the New York Red Bulls first team during the 2015 season. He made his professional debut for the New York Red Bulls II on March 26, 2016 against Toronto FC II. He started the game and played the full match as the Red Bulls II drew the match 2–2. On September 7, 2016, Powder scored his first two goals as a professional in a 4–1 victory over the Harrisburg City Islanders, helping New York to clinch the 2016 USL Regular Season Championship. The 2019 USL Championship season is the ninth season of the USL Championship and third under Division II sanctioning. This is the first season in which the league is operating under the name "USL Championship," having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. The season began on March 8, 2019, and concluded on October 20, 2019; with each team playing 34 matches. 36 teams competed in the 2019 USL Championship season, split into 2 conferences of 18 teams each. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. 2018 Orange County SC Season
The 2018 Orange County SC season was the club's eighth season of existence, and their eighth consecutive season in the United Soccer League, the second tier of American soccer. Orange County also competed in the U.S. Open Cup. The season covered the period from October 14, 2017, to the beginning of the 2019 USL season. OCSC won the Western Conference in the regular season, finishing one point ahead of runners-up Sacramento Republic. It marked the second time in club history that Orange County had topped the conference, after 2015. However, the club would be knocked out in the conference finals by eventual USL Cup runners-up Phoenix Rising.
