Noah23 Discography
Noah23 is a Canadian-American underground hip hop artist from Guelph, Ontario. His discography consists of twenty-eight solo albums, four collaboration albums, sixteen EPs, eleven mixtapes, five compilations, three physical singles, and many guest appearances on other artists' tracks. Labels Noah23's first two official albums were released through his own record label Plague Language (in 2001/2). The label went on indefinite hiatus in 2004, and since then the majority of his albums have been released on Canadian sister-label Legendary Entertainment (with a Plague Language imprint), which is owned and managed by his frequent collaborator Crunk Chris. He has also released two albums and one single with German label 2nd Rec (in 2003/4), one EP and one single with short-lived Canadian label Northstar Imprint (in 2003/4), one EP with American label Vermin Street (in 2010), and one album with American label Fake Four Inc. Noah23
Noah Raymond Brickley (born February 10, 1978), better known by his stage name Noah23, is a Canadian-American hip hop artist from Guelph, Ontario. He is co-founder of the Plague Language collective and record label, and has been described as "one of Canada's best, most underrated MCs". Career Noah Raymond Brickley was born in 1978 in Natchez, Mississippi and moved to Guelph, Ontario at the age of 4. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his first album, originally titled ''Plague Language'', in 1999. This album, initially released on cassette, was remastered and released on CD in 2006 under the name ''Cytoplasm Pixel''. In the late 1990s, Noah23 started the record label Plague Language with producer Orphan (real name Kingston Maguire, who went on to become one half of production duo Blue Sky Black Death). Daniel Denton (born November 14, 1973), better known by his stage name Moka Only, is a Canadian underground hip hop artist. He has won 3 JUNO Awards, 5 MuchMusic Video Awards, and has been nominated for 11 Western Canadian Music Awards. Originally from Langford, British Columbia, near Victoria, he is now based in Vancouver. He was previously part of the hip hop group Swollen Members, and briefly a part of Len. Moka has released albums through Feelin' Music, Legendary Entertainment, Battleaxe Records, Domination Recordings, Camobear Records, Wandering Worx and URBNET Records. Moka Only often works with different hip-hop artists and groups, and often works under his alias Ron Contour. Vert (born Adam Butler, 1972, Portsmouth, England) is an English electronic music record producer who has been active since 1996. His music incorporates elements from various electronic genres (earlier drum and bass, subsequently glitch and idm), as well as other genres, such as jazz and hip hop. Kate Schutt
Kate Schutt is an American singer and songwriter who has released two albums ''No Love Lost'' and ''The Telephone Game.'' Career Schutt learned to play the guitar as a child and began playing the guitar and writing songs at the age of 11. She gave first performance when she was 12 and wrote her first song at 13. She studied at The Berklee College of Music and Harvard University. In 2002, she had throat surgery and did not perform again until July 2003. She released a five-song EP, ''Heart-Shot'', in 2004, on which Schutt played a Novax 8-string guitar/bass hybrid for the first time. Charles Andrew Bothwell (born December 13, 1981), better known by his stage name Astronautalis, is an American alternative hip hop artist currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Julio Francisco "Ceschi" Ramos (born July 24, 1981), better known as Ceschi Ramos, or simply as Ceschi (pronounced "chess-key"), is an American hip hop musician based in New Haven, Connecticut. He is a co-founder of Fake Four Inc. He won the Connecticut Music Awards for Best Hip Hop in 2014. Life and career Ceschi released his first solo album, ''Fake Flowers'', in 2004. ''Jupiter Sajitarius'' is a 2004 album by Canadian-American alternative hip hop artist Noah23. It possesses "a remarkable variety of both production and compositions," according to MiC Music Portal. The majority of the album's production was handled by Orphan, and marked the final collaboration between the two, prior to Orphan's departure from Plague Language and the formation of Blue Sky Black Death. The track "Chicken Pox" was released as a 10" single in 2004, featuring a remix entitled "Chicken Soup", produced by Orphan with a guest appearance from Ceschi, and a B-side entitled "Sigma Octantis", produced by Savillion. Jim Guthrie is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He has recorded both as a solo artist and as a member of the bands Islands, Royal City and Human Highway. Livestock (rapper)
Benjamin Reeve, better known by his stage name Livestock, is a rapper from Guelph, Ontario. Livestock was a long-time member of the Plague Language collective founded by Noah23 and Orphan. History Prior to rapping, in the late 1990s, Livestock performed locally as a hip hop DJ under the alias Beetle Juice aka Beetle Jiggly, inspired by the Beat Junkies as well as local Guelph DJs Bias Ply, DJ Basic, B Art, NV US, Tom, and DJ Krinjah. After DJing and organizing local hip hop concerts in the late '90s and early 2000s, Livestock began learning the craft of lyricism with Noah23 after-hours at a vegan restaurant in Guelph called the Cafe Aquarius where Noah was chef.
