Charles Andrew Bothwell (born December 13, 1981), better known by his stage name Astronautalis, is an American alternative hip hop artist currently based in Brooklyn, New York. History After gaining some recognition in local circles in Jacksonville, Florida and competing at Scribble Jam, Astronautalis self-released his debut album, ''You and Yer Good Ideas'', in 2003. He eventually signed with Fighting Records and the record was re-released in 2005, followed by his second album, ''The Mighty Ocean and Nine Dark Theaters'', in 2006. He released the third album, ''Pomegranate'', on Eyeball Records in 2008. In winter 2009, he toured with the Canadian indie rock band Tegan and Sara through Europe, and supported them again through the spring of 2010 in Australia. Four Fists
Four Fists is an American hip hop group from Minneapolis, Minnesota. It consists of P.O.S and Astronautalis. History P.O.S and Astronautalis first met on the Warped Tour in 2004. Subsequently, the two started working together in secret as Four Fists. The group's name derives from one of the short stories by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Andrew Sims (born October 19, 1982), better known mononymously as Sims, is an American rapper from Minneapolis. He has been a member of Doomtree and Shredders. Early life Sims was born Andrew Sims on October 19, 1982 in Minnesota. He grew up in Hopkins, a suburb of Minneapolis. His parents were former musicians. He first began creating music at an early age when his father bought him a Casio SK-1 keyboard. At a young age, he began writing lyrics, not necessarily rap. By the time he was 14, Sims was freestyle rapping and was also in various non hip hop bands as well. ''Never Better'' is the third solo studio album by American rapper P.O.S. It was released on Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2009. It peaked at number 106 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. Fake Four Inc
Fake Four is an independent record label based in New Haven, Connecticut. It was founded by brothers Ceschi and David Ramos in 2008. According to an interview with Ceschi on Ugsmag.com, the Ramos brothers started Fake Four with help from Grimm Image Records in San Bernardino, California and Squids Eye Recording Collective in Dayton, Ohio as an outlet to release and distribute their personal music projects and those of their friends.
