''No olvidarás mi nombre'' is a Colombian telenovela produced by Fernando Gaitán and written by Nubia Barreto for RCN Televisión. The series is starring Iván López as Sergio Aparicio, leading female role by Susana Rojas as Lucía Martinez and the return to television of Ana María Orozco. Plot The series is a production based on real events and tells the story of Sergio Aparicio, a brilliant Bogota brokerage executive, who, at the end of an equine fair, meets a mysterious woman: Lucía Martínez. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Fernando Gaitán Salom (9 November 1960 – 29 January 2019) was a Colombian TV series and telenovela screenwriter as well as a producer. Career Fernando Gaitán was known for weaving different histories into diverse social contexts. He gained fame in Latin America after writing the telenovela '' Café, con aroma de mujer'' and world notoriety for his telenovela '' Yo soy Betty, la fea'' which has been adapted in different countries. ''Yo soy Betty, la fea'' won the TP de Oro for its nominated category, ''Mejor Telenovela'' (''Best Soap Opera'') in 2002. RCN Televisión, branded as Canal RCN (''Radio Cadena Nacional'') is a Colombian free-to-air television network. It is a Colombian open television channel, belonging to the Ardila Lülle Organization. It was founded as a television content production company on March 23, 1967, and found its broadcasts as an independent channel on July 10, 1998. Its main shareholder is Carlos Ardila Lülle. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene.
