''No Hard Feelings'' is an upcoming American coming of age comedy-drama film directed by Gene Stupnitsky, and co-written by Stupnitsky and John Phillips. Jennifer Lawrence is set to produce and star in the film through her company, Excellent Cadaver. The film is set in Montauk, New York, in the vein of ''Bad Teacher'' and ''Risky Business'', where Lawrence's character answers a Craigslist ad that was placed by a mother for someone to date her son (Andrew Barth Feldman) before he enters college. It was scheduled to be released on June 16, 2023 by Sony Pictures Releasing, but was delayed by one week to June 23. Gene Stupnitsky (born August 26, 1977) is a Ukrainian-born American film and television writer and producer. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. He usually works with Lee Eisenberg, with whom he founded Quantity Entertainment. Life and career Gene Stupnitsky was born in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union (present-day Kyiv, Ukraine) to Jewish parents. He attended Stevenson High School and graduated from the University of Iowa in 2000.
